Program Agreement for Affiliates
Please read before applying:
SEM restrictions and requirements: Affiliates are restricted from search engine marketing using any of our "protected" keywords as well as any other misspellings or derivatives thereof. Some protected keywords are: Blick Art Material(s), Blick Art Supply(s), Dick Blick(s), dickblick(s), dickblick(s).com. This restriction includes but is not limited to keyword bidding, display URL's, and site names. Affiliates must enter as negative search terms the words "dick blick," dickblick," "blick". Placing Blick Art Materials product links or product feed through Google shopping services is likewise prohibited.
We do not allow affiliates to advertise on any search engine using the trade name of any of our competitors or to enhance web pages with the trade names of any competitors in attempt to attract visitors, including but not limited to meta tags, visible text, cloaked text, and page titles.
Compliance with FTC Guides: Affiliate shall comply with Federal Trade Commission Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 Code of Federal Regulations Part 255) in connection with links to the Blick Art Materials web site. In furtherance, but not in limitation thereof, Affiliate shall conspicuously disclose to customers that Affiliate is compensated for linking to the Blick Art Materials web site.
Data Feeds: Please do not submit data feeds to third party shopping sites.
Use of Creatives: The Blick Art Materials logo and banner designs may not be altered in any way without prior approval from Blick Art Materials. Original ad banners, videos or other ad media produced by the affiliate to promote Blick Art Materials by name is prohibited unless submitted to Blick Art Materials for approval before the ad is published or made available to the public. Blick Art Materials has the right to reject or refuse publisher- created media at any time.
Promotional Offers: Affiliates may publicize current Blick Art Materials promotional codes and sales, but the end date must be indicated and/or the offer removed from their web site once it expires. Blick Art Materials reserves the right to request affiliates remove coupons from their sites as we deem necessary.
Sub-Affiliates: Sub-affiliates must be pre-approved by Blick Art Materials. Publishers will be held responsible for the compliance of any sub-affiliates with all program policies. Blick Art Materials reserves the right to cancel affiliate commissions on sales generated through violation of any policies.
Disqualified Sales: Contract sales to schools and businesses do not qualify for affiliate commissions. Blick ArtRoom Aid transactions are not eligible for commissions, and the purchase of a gift card does not qualify for a commission.
Unacceptable web sites: Blick Art Materials will not accept any sites containing adult content, hate material, slanderous or libelous information, promotion of violation or infringement upon copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property, false or misleading advertising or claims, misleading or hidden links. Web sites returning part of their commission to the consumer in any form, to include rebates, points or credits, may not be accepted.
These policies are strictly enforced.
