Scothosts Ltd

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Scothosts Ltd affiliate programme operated through the Awin network. By applying to and participating in the programme, you agree to comply with these Terms, the Awin Publisher Agreement, and all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Programme Participation
Participation is open to approved publishers only. Scothosts Ltd reserves the right to review and approve or reject applications at our sole discretion. We may terminate or suspend your participation without notice if we believe your activities are unlawful, misleading, harmful to our brand, or in breach of these Terms.

2. Tracking and Attribution
All sales must be tracked via the Awin platform to qualify for commission. Scothosts Ltd is not responsible for any tracking errors, interruptions, or failures beyond our control. Transactions cancelled, refunded, or subject to chargeback will not earn commission, and any related commission may be reversed.

3. Prohibited Practices
You may not:

Bid on Scothosts Ltd brand terms, misspellings, or direct URLs in paid search without prior written approval.

Use misleading, offensive, or inappropriate content to promote Scothosts Ltd.

Incentivise clicks or sales in a way that misleads customers.

Use unauthorised creatives, images, or copy.

Engage in any activity that could reasonably be considered fraudulent or deceptive.

4. Commission and Payment
Commission rates will be displayed in the programme details on the Awin platform and may vary depending on product category or promotion. Commission is calculated on the net sale value, excluding VAT, shipping, and discounts. Scothosts Ltd reserves the right to amend rates at any time, with notice provided via the Awin platform. Payments will be made through Awin according to their payment schedule.

5. Brand Guidelines
Only approved creatives and marketing materials provided via the Awin platform may be used. These may not be altered in any way without written permission. All promotions must accurately represent Scothosts Ltd products and services.

6. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content provided by Scothosts Ltd remain our property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these solely for the purposes of promoting our products within the affiliate programme.

7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your participation at any time for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any action that we reasonably believe could harm Scothosts Ltd or its reputation. Upon termination, you must remove all Scothosts Ltd branding, links, and creatives immediately.

8. Liability
Scothosts Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the programme. Our total liability to you will not exceed the total commission paid to you in the six months preceding the claim.

9. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Awin programme description or via direct communication on the platform. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
