Affiliate Terms of Service for the Decorative Ceiling Tiles, Inc Affiliate Program.
This agreement is subject to change at any time with or without notice. Continuation in our program after the terms have been posted constitutes agreement to any changes. It is the affiliate's responsibility to have a working email address available in AWIN so that such notices can be delivered.
1. KEYWORD ADVERTISING RESTRICTIONS (PPC, PPV, Media Buys etc.)
1a. Direct to merchant linking is not allowed. All pay per click advertising needs to link to the affiliate's site, not directly to the Decorative Ceiling Tiles website. Using www.DecorativeCeilingTiles.net in the display url or making your ad look like the official ad for the site are prohibited.
1b. Trademark bidding is not allowed. The terms DecorativeCeilingTiles, www.DecorativeCeilingTiles.net, DecorativeCeilingTiles.net or any variations or the domain name are not allowed. This includes using modifiers like “reviews”, “coupons” and mispellings of the brand or domain. Also see section 2b below.
1c. PPV advertising is prohibited. PPV is any ad that shows over a website where the owner of the website did not agree to having the ad shown including pop ups, pop unders, contextual overlays, links placed over content by a browser, etc… Media buys must point to affiliate website and not direct to merchant.
2. COUPON AND DEALS SITES ADDITIONAL TERMS
2a. Affiliates may not use misleading text on affiliate links, buttons or images to imply that anything besides currently authorized deals or other savings are available.
2b. Affiliates may not bid on Decorative Ceiling Tiles Coupons or other phrases like “ceiling tiles” implying coupons are available if there is 1. not a coupon posted or 2. no coupons or savings available.
2c. Affiliates may not generate pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, frames, or any other seen or unseen actions that set affiliate cookies unless the user has expressed a clear and explicit interest in activating a specific savings by clicking on a clearly marked link, button or image for that particular coupon or deal. Your link must send the visitor to the merchant site.
2d. User must be able to see coupon/deal/savings information and details before an affiliate cookie is set (i.e. "click here to see coupons and open a window to merchant site" is NOT allowed).
2e. Affiliate sites may not have "Click for (or to see) Deal/Coupon" or any variation, when there are no coupons or deals available, and the click opens the merchant site or sets a cookie.
Affiliates with such text on the merchant landing page will be removed from the program immediately.
2f. Affiliates may not build pages on their website intended to intercept Decorative Ceiling Tile’s customers in the checkout process including coupon terms for SEO, GEO, or AIO. url.com/coupons/decorative-ceiling-tiles or url.com/decorative-ceiling-tiles-coupons
2g. Affiliates may not include the brand + coupon, discounts, promo codes and other phrases in the title tags, meta descriptions, or header tags, or use them in content repetitively to try and show up for the brand + coupons in SEO, GEO, or AIO results.
3. WEBSITE AND PROMOTION RESTRICTIONS
3a. Affiliates may not frame or display in an iframe the Decorative Ceiling Tiles site or products unless they are being displayed using an approved third party tool. Framing in an invisible frame is expressly prohibited. Affiliate sites may not have the same "look and feel" of the merchant website, i.e. look like the merchant site.
3b. No software downloads or technology that may be used to intercept, redirect or divert traffic and/or referral fees from Decorative Ceiling Tiles or any of its affiliate partners. This restriction includes browser helper objects (BHOs), spyware, adware, parasiteware(tm) and similar products.
3c. Traffic Exchanges, autosurfing or pay-to-surf promotions, pop-ups, pop-unders, and other seen or unseen setting of cookies are NOT allowed.
3d. Using DecorativeCeilingTiles.net with or without hyphens or other characters, or any misspellings in your top level domain name are prohibited.
3e. Decorative Ceiling Tiles, Inc prohibits sites that are link farms or banner farms, i.e. there is no content on the site other than lists of text links or banners.
4. EMAIL RESTRICTIONS
4a. Affiliate agrees that they will not engage in spamming, unlawful mass emailing or any unapproved emailing or in any way fail to comply with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-187 or any additional legislation), and/or any other rules, laws or regulations that govern email marketing and advertising. Affiliate agrees that their promotional activities will not infringe on Decorative Ceiling Tiles's protected business rights, including but not limited to copyright and trademark rights.
4b. All email advertising that includes advertising for Decorative Ceiling Tiles products need to link to a landing page on the affiliate's website and not to the Decorative Ceiling Tiles domain, unless written permission is obtained in advance of the mailing.

Any affiliate found to be in violation of the above terms is subject to immediate deactivation from the program, in addition to all fees being canceled regardless of date, time, and origin.
5.Social Media Usage
5a. Affiliates are allowed to use social media to promote the affiliate program as long as they are not using trademarked terms. Affiliates are also restricted from using the merchants name or similar in their user ID or claim to be the merchant.
5b. Affiliates must respect the terms of services on the social networking site that they are using. If we see an affiliate getting suspension notices and or terminations we reserve the right to remove them from the affiliate program.
5c. Mentions on streaming services such as (but not limited to) Twitter/X can only be used a maximum of 5 times per day. Streams that only consist of messages with direct links that don't engage in conversation are subject to removal from the affiliate program.
5d. Spam reports from any Social Media site are grounds for immediate removal from the affiliate program.
5e. If you are not sure your social networking methods are allowed please ask.
6. SUB AFFILIATE NETWORKS - THIRD PARTY TOOLS
6a. We only work with affiliates that are approved through the AWIN system. If you are operating in a way that allows you to pay and/or approve of affiliates under you, you will not be allowed as an affiliate.
6.b. If your site looks like a subaffiliate network and are a "third party tool" please contact us in advance of applying so we can review your site and talk about your business plan.
7. ADVERTISING DISCLOSURES
7a. All promotions must follow all advertising disclosure laws and guidelines across the world. Failure to use advertising disclosures may result in immediate removal from the affiliate program, having commissions turned off, and all commissions may be voided regardless of origin or promotional methods.
7b. Web pages must have a disclosure before the first affiliate link is visible and clearly state the relationship. Here is an example “We earn commissions if you shop through the links below.” if the content is a list post and the amount earned impacts the ranking of the brands, it must include this as well. The disclosure cannot be in the footer, on another page, or be easy to miss. It must be in a clear and conspicuous place.
7c. All social media promotions must start with (ad) or #ad before the text and the disclosure cannot be at the end, mixed in with hashtags, or hidden. Video content must have #ad or #advertisement across the screen, at least in the beginning.
7d. Video content for YouTube, Skool, Vimeo, Podcasts, and other platforms – Disclose verbally in the beginning or before the first visual or verbal mention of the brand by saying “We have relationships with some of the brands featured in this video, and when you shop through the links in the description we’ll earn a commission at no additional cost to you.” Then in the description do one of the following:
- Place “We earn commissions when you shop through the links below” before the first affiliate link or
- Place (ad) before each individual affiliate link
It is each affiliates’ responsibility to ensure their platforms have compliant and use compliant advertising disclosures. 8. TERMINATION AND PARTICIPATION
Participation in the affiliate program is voluntary and the relationship can be terminated at any time and for any reason at either parties discretion. If the program TOS is broken as determined by Decorative Ceiling Tiles, all commissions can and will be voided regardless of origin and time.
