1. Pay Per Click (PPC) or Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Policy
SellBackBooks.com does not allow its affiliates to bid on trademarked terms or trademark+ terms (TM+) on any search engine, including but not limited to Google, Bing, AOL and/or Yahoo search and content networks. This includes bidding on any trademarked terms including sellbackbooks or sellbackbooks.com as well as common misspellings and/or variations. Affiliates are also not permitted to bid on any TM+ keywords such as sellbackbooks coupon or sellbackbooks discount.
We recommend negative matching the following keyword searches to avoid being in violation of our policy. Prohibited keywords include but are not limited to: sellbackbooks, sellbackbooks.com, www.sellbackbooks.com and any variation and/or misspelling of the keywords listed here.
Direct Linking: You may not link directly to SellBackBooks.com or any of its subpages from paid advertisements or use redirects that yield the same result.
Misrepresentation of the Brand: You may not represent yourself or your company as SellBackBooks.com in any way. It should be clear to a consumer that you are a third-party representing the brand and not the brand itself. You are required to be truthful about any advertisement representing SellBackBooks.com including information surrounding rebate, coupon and sales offers.
Any affiliate found violating this policy will be contacted through Shareasale and given the opportunity to remove the paid advertisements in question. If the advertisements are not removed, we reserve the right to remove you from our affiliate program and reverse any commissions gained through the use of paid advertisements.
2. Social Media
Affiliates utilizing social media sites such as Facebook and/or Twitter to promote SellBackBooks.com coupons or offers are not permitted to direct link to SellBackBooks.com or any of its subpages from social posts or use redirects that yield the same result. If social posts are found that violate this policy, we reserve the right to remove you from our affiliate program and reverse any commissions gained through the use of social posts.
3. Website
Unacceptable Websites: Sexually explicit or adult themed websites
Use of Logos and Trademarks: Only approved SellBackBooks.com logos and graphics available through Shareasale should be displayed on your website. For special image requests, please contact the SellBackBooks.com Affiliate Program Manager at affiliates@sellbackbooks.com.
Coupons and Promotional Codes: Affiliates may only use coupons and promotional codes that are provided through Shareasale. The display of unapproved coupon codes or exclusive coupon codes for another affiliate on your website is grounds for commission reversal.
4. Reversals
In an effort to prevent fraud, SellBackBooks.com will reverse leads that do not meet the minimum requirements. For a lead commission to be paid in full , it must be received in our warehouse. Commissions will not be paid on leads that are never received. There are many reasons why a customer may not send their books to SellBackBooks.com including a) they decide to keep the book or b) they sell the book to another company.
5. Exclusions, Penalties, and Notifications
SellBackBooks.com reserves the right to exclude any and/or all of our policies for individual affiliates at the sole discretion of the Affiliate Program Manager. Any affiliate who is excluded from any policy will be required to agree via signed contract to any exclusion permitted herein. Exemption from our program terms is only valid with expressed written consent.
Affiliates in violation of any stated policies will receive one warning via email and given 48 hours to correct any violations and comply with our current policies. If the violation is not corrected and/or no communication is received, the result will be termination of the affiliate relationship and reversal of any earned commissions not yet paid.
