TravelSupermarket Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions

General Terms

TravelSupermarket Limited values its affiliate partnerships and strives to ensure fair and transparent terms for all parties involved in our programme. Below, you will find the key terms governing our affiliate relationships.

1. Transaction Queries

TravelSupermarket Limited is committed to resolving any missing transactions. Affiliates are required to submit transaction queries within 12 months from the date of sale. Queries submitted after this timeframe will not be processed.

2. Commissionable Channels

Hotels

Purchases made on the TravelSupermarket Hotels via a publisher link will be subject to both TravelSupermarket Limited’s and the publisher’s terms and conditions.

  • Commissions will be deposited within 30 to 365 days of booking. Bookings that are cancelled will be automatically declined after 365 days.
  • Purchases must be linked to a publisher by clicking a publisher link, proceeding directly to the subdomain, and completing a booking within the same session without navigating away from the browser.
  • If a user navigates away from the browser and later returns to complete the booking, commissions will only be valid if the tracking remains active and unbroken. If the session expires, the transaction may not be attributed to the affiliate. Affiliates are encouraged to check that their tracking methods align with this requirement.

Travel Insurance

Purchases made through the TravelSupermarket Travel Insurance landing page via a publisher link will also follow the applicable terms and conditions.

  • Commissions are deposited within 90 to 180 days from the policy purchase date. Quotes that do not convert into policies are declined after 150 days.
  • Commissions are valid if purchases are made directly after clicking the publisher link, generating a brand-new quote, and completing the purchase within the same browser session.
  • If users navigate away and later return to complete the purchase, tracking continuity must be maintained. Affiliates should ensure their setup supports this to avoid lost commissions.

3. Adherence to Brand Guidelines and Creatives

All publishers must strictly adhere to the TravelSupermarket brand guidelines and use only the offers and creatives provided through the approved offer bank. Misuse or unauthorised modification of discounts, promotional offers, or other marketing materials to gain clicks is strictly prohibited.

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of the publisher’s participation in the programme.
  • Withholding of any pending payouts.

4. Fair Deduplication Policy

TravelSupermarket ensures a fair deduplication policy, attributing sales to affiliates appropriately. We strive for transparency in attribution models (e.g., last-click).

5. Cookie Window

Our programme operates with a 30-day cookie window for tracking conversions. All clicks attributed to an affiliate will remain valid for commissions within this timeframe, provided other criteria are met.

6. Commission Validation and Payment

All commissions are validated monthly. Payments are made following the successful validation of transactions:

  • Hotels: 30 - 365 days post-booking.
  • Travel Insurance: 90 - 180 days post-purchase.

7. PPC Policy

Affiliates are prohibited from engaging in brand bidding on any paid search campaigns related to TravelSupermarket.

Restricted terms include, but are not limited to:

  • Brand terms (e.g., "TravelSupermarket").
  • Brand + generic terms (e.g., "TravelSupermarket holidays").
  • Brand misspellings (e.g., "TravelSupermaket").

Affiliates must review the TravelSupermarket PPC Brand Keywords document for a complete list of restricted keywords. These must be added as negative matches across all PPC campaigns. Failure to comply may result in termination from the programme.

8. Fraud Prevention and Click Transparency

Affiliates are required to ensure full transparency regarding the sources of all clicks and traffic.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of automated bots or click fraud schemes.
  • Manipulated or incentivised clicks without prior approval.
  • Traffic generated from misleading or non-compliant sources.

Violations may result in termination from the programme and withholding of pending payouts.

9. Term Changes and Suspension

TravelSupermarket may update or change programme terms. Affiliates will be notified of any significant changes or programme suspensions with at least 7 days' notice.

10. Commission Structure Clarification

The commission details are as follows:

  • Holidays (CPC): £0.18 per click-out to partner sites. This channel operates on an invite-only basis. Commissions are paid per click, not CPA.
  • Holiday Deals (CPC): £0.18 per click-out to partner sites, also invite-only.
  • Car Hire (CPA): 5% of the total booking value.
  • Travel Insurance (CPA): 17% of the policy value.
  • Airport Parking (CPA): 2% of the booking value.
  • Airport Lounges (CPA): 2% of the booking value.
  • Airport Hotels (CPA): 2% of the booking value.

To avoid confusion, note that holiday click-outs operate on a CPC basis and will not generate CPA commissions for resulting bookings.

11. Continuous Review

Terms and conditions are subject to continuous review and may change periodically. Affiliates are encouraged to regularly check our profile for updates.
