Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Terms and Conditions for our affiliate program at Coving and Mouldings in partnership with Awin. These terms provide transparency and guidelines for our publishers and ensure that all parties involved are clear on the terms of our affiliate program.
General Terms
These terms outline the key guidelines for participating in our affiliate program. By applying and/or joining the program, publishers agree to these terms and conditions.
Commission Structure and Rates
- Default Rate: The standard commission rate is 8% on all sales.
- Customer Type: Commissions are the same across all customer types.
- Product Type: Commissions apply equally to all product types.
- Basket Value: Commissions are calculated on the total basket value excluding VAT and shipping.
- Assist Commission: Commissions may be adjusted based on assists that contribute to the final sale.
Validation Process
- Returns Policy: Commissions are only validated for non-returned items. Any returned items will result in the reversal of the commission.
- Criteria for Validation: All sales must be genuine transactions and not involve any fraudulent activity.
Statement of Consequences
- If a publisher breaches the terms and conditions, the following actions may be taken:
- Commission reversal
- Suspension from the affiliate program
- Termination from the affiliate program
Voucher Codes
- Only voucher codes provided through the My Offers section or sent via the Communication Centre are permitted.
- Unauthorised use of voucher codes will result in commission reversals.
Cookie Period
- The default cookie period is 30 days.

PPC Terms
- PPC Advertising: Publishers are allowed to engage in PPC advertising on our behalf.
- Restrictions: Publishers must not bid on our brand name or any variations/misspellings.
- Consequences: Breaching these terms may result in warnings or removal from the program.
Transactions
- Tracking: Commissions are paid on the total basket value excluding VAT, delivery charges, and any other additional costs.
- Declines: Transactions may be declined if the order is cancelled, an item is returned, or an invalid code is used.
Branding
- Publishers must adhere to our branding guidelines, which include:
- Correct use of our brand name: Coving and Mouldings [AH1]
- Avoidance of any misleading or deceptive advertising practices
Notice Period
- Changes to Program: A minimum notice period of 7 days will be given for any changes to the affiliate program.
- Suspensions: Publishers will be notified at least 7 days in advance before any suspension from the program.
Publishers
- Approved Publisher Types: We welcome a variety of publisher types but reserve the right to exclude any publishers that do not align with our brand values.
- Restrictions: Any restrictions will be clearly outlined to publishers upon joining the program.
De-Duplication
- De-Duplication Policy: We may de-duplicate sales against other marketing channels such as PPC, email marketing, and direct traffic to ensure that commissions are only awarded once per sale.
- Transparency: Publishers will be informed about de-duplication practices and any changes will be communicated with a 7-day notice period.
Publishing Terms and Conditions
- Active Publishing: Your terms will be published once you click 'save', 'publish now', and 'discard drafts' on all tabs.
- Visibility: Once published, these terms will be listed in the Advertiser Directory accessible to the public.
- Updates: Any updates to these terms will be communicated through the Communication Centre with a 7-day notice period before coming into effect.
