Copy

In accordance with FCA regulations, it is imperative that all copy is standalone compliant and never misleading. This means that all promotions must be substantiated directly after the message itself. For this reason, you can only publish copy that has been approved by Co-op Compliance Managers.

Bespoke copy - In order to make it easier for you, we’ll provide bespoke copy each time we make a change. This will have been pre-approved by our compliance team and tailored to your website.

Creating your own copy - If you’d like to write your own copy then we’d be happy to support you with this. We can supply a list of promotional messages and required substantiation or append the relevant content to your messages for you. We can discuss any required amends along the way until we have compliant copy for you to proceed with.

Copy Auditing: Upon any change requests, Co-op will work with you after an update is requested to ensure that your content remains compliant. If you would like information regarding our 3-day compliance process, please contact us.

Compliance failure could result in your removal from the programme; however our ultimate goal is to work together to produce content that is both compliant and engaging.
