Unikitout Terms and Conditions for Affiliate Publishers
Programme Membership
Programme membership will be based on brand alignment and demographic fit, which we will assess on an ongoing basis. If any publisher fails to meet these criteria, we will discuss the partnership moving forward. Publishers will be reviewed every 3 months and may be subject to removal from the programme.
Acceptance and Marketing Consent
Your acceptance to the Unikitout affiliate programme is not consent to begin marketing activity. You must seek written consent by providing information on how you intend to market the brand. This includes the duration, involved parties, contact points, marketing environments, ad copy, images, videos, audiences and their demographics, GDPR compliance where relevant, and any other pertinent information.
No marketing, promotion, advertising, or publishing of any kind through any medium, content, or source shall be done without written consent from a Unikitout representative or an authorized delegate.
Brand Usage
Affiliate publishers are not permitted to bid on Unikitout brand terms or any misspellings for the purpose of generating traffic through paid search activities across search engine operators. Use of Unikitout brand terms within domain names, display URLs, or within ad copy across paid search activity is strictly prohibited.
Discount Code/Voucher Use
Affiliates are not allowed to publish any discount/voucher codes on their site(s) that have not been verified and approved by Unikitout. Publishers found using another publisher’s exclusive code will face immediate suspension from the programme.
Email Marketing
All email marketing content must be sent to the Unikitout team for approval prior to distribution. This ensures consistency and accuracy in all marketing communications. Email marketing must include data that is GDPR compliant. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance and for any penalties incurred due to non-compliance.
Creative
Affiliates must request permission to alter any creative or text links available through the Awin interface. Unauthorised alterations are not allowed and may lead to suspension from the programme.
Copy
All copy featured on affiliate sites can be taken directly from the Unikitout website. Any alterations must be approved by the Unikitout team to maintain brand consistency and accuracy of information.
Cookie Period
The cookie period for affiliate tracking is 30 days.
Third-Party Responsibility
If you work with third parties to promote the brand, you accept full liability for their actions and ensure they adhere to these terms and conditions in full. Any breach by third parties will be your responsibility.
Prohibited Practices
Under no circumstances should bots, artificial intelligence, cookie stuffing, click bots, spoofing, fake impressions, malicious software, fraudulent techniques, or any dishonest methods be used. Such actions will result in the decline of all pending and approved commissions, and any commissions paid out must be returned.
Approval of Assets and Ad Copy
Assets and ad copy must be approved by the Unikitout team or a delegated authority before publication in every instance.
Product Samples and Promotions
Failure to create favorable promotional activity within 14 days of receiving samples, gifts, or any product/service from Unikitout will result in a charge for the RRP value of the product/service.
Cashback Marketing
The use of cashback in marketing the brand must not include coupons, vouchers, or incentive codes without prior written consent. Businesses and individuals utilizing cashback are responsible for preventing fraud and remedying any loss or damages caused to Unikitout.
Pay-Per-Click and Bidding Activity
Pay-per-click or bidding activities using Unikitout brand terms, including misspellings, abbreviations, or slang, are forbidden unless written consent is provided beforehand.
Display Advertising
Display advertising, including retargeting, must be pre-approved with full transparency of assets used, ad copy, audience targeting details, and environments where ads will appear.
Aggregation and Comparison
Aggregation and comparison methods must use accurate products, ad copy, pricing, and imagery. Changes to the position or location of products and any alterations to ad copy or imagery must be pre-approved.
Shopping Comparison Ads
CSS, Google Shopping, Bing Shopping, and other bidding activities for search engine shopping comparisons must have prior consent and should not include brand terms, misspellings, or abbreviations without permission.
Breach of Terms
Any breach of these terms will result in the decline of pending commissions, reversal of approved commissions, and return of commissions paid out. You will be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred to remedy a breach.
General Consent Requirements
Any type of marketing not explicitly covered in these terms requires written approval. Consent must be sought for each instance of marketing.
Enforcement and Non-Compliance
Non-enforcement of any terms does not imply consent. Enforcement can be taken at any time if consent is not present for an action or instance of marketing.
Clarification of Terms
For any uncertainties or ambiguities in these terms, clarification should be sought from Unikitout.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
By joining the Unikitout affiliate programme, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Unikitout reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with affiliates being notified of changes in advance.
