Welcome to the Galactic Federation of Light Affiliate Program. These terms outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for all affiliates participating in our program.
1. FTC Compliance & Disclosure
All affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their affiliate relationship with Galactic Federation of Light in accordance with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines. Disclosures must:
Be placed near any affiliate link or endorsement
Be written in clear, simple language understandable by your audience
Be visible across all platforms where you promote GFL products (blogs, social media, email, podcasts, video, etc.)
Examples of compliant disclosures:
“This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase through them.”
“As a GFL affiliate, I may receive commissions from qualifying purchases.”
“Some links in this content are affiliate links. If you click and buy, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.”
Failure to follow FTC disclosure requirements may result in paused commissions or removal from the program.
2. Allowed Publisher Types
The following types of publishers are permitted to participate in the GFL Affiliate Program:
Content: Blogs, review sites, informational platforms
Community: Forums, discussion groups, spiritual or conscious-living communities
Discount Code: Influencers or affiliates sharing unique codes with their audience
Cashback / Loyalty / Media Brokers: Allowed on a case-by-case basis; must be pre-approved
Note: Paid search campaigns (PPC) and behavioural retargeting are not allowed unless explicitly approved by GFL.
3. Prohibited Promotions & Restrictions
Affiliates may not promote GFL products in association with:
Adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit material
Illegal or age-restricted products
Gambling, political campaigns, or controversial content
Any platform or content that violates FTC, Awin, or GFL guidelines
GFL reserves the right to suspend or remove affiliates who violate these rules or engage in promotions that could harm the brand’s image.
4. Brand Guidelines
Affiliates must:
Accurately represent GFL products and brand values
Use approved logos, images, and creative assets provided in the affiliate dashboard
Avoid misleading statements about products, pricing, or guarantees
Follow instructions for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events
5. Commission & Payment
Commission rate: 12% per qualifying sale
Cookie window: 90 days
Bonuses or tiered incentives may be applied at GFL’s discretion
All payments are processed according to Awin’s standard payment schedule and terms.
6. Termination
GFL reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at its discretion, including for violations of these terms, FTC requirements, or brand misuse. Affiliates may also terminate participation at any time through their Awin account.
