Program Terms

GESSATO DESIGN STORE (CONTEMPORARITIES LLC)
AWIN AFFILIATE PROGRAM – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective date: January 14th 2026
Network: Awin (“Awin”)
Advertiser: Contemporarities LLC d/b/a Gessato Design Store (“Gessato,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
Publisher: Approved Awin Publisher (“you,” “your”)

By applying to, joining, or participating in the Gessato Design Store affiliate program on Awin (the “Program”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Program Terms”).

These Program Terms supplement Awin’s rules and your agreement with Awin. If there is a conflict, Awin’s mandatory rules apply. Where allowed, we may enforce the stricter rule.

DEFINITIONS

“Gessato Site” = shop.gessato.com and any future store domains we operate.

“Program Materials” = banners, links, product data feeds, images, text, coupon codes, logos, and any creative provided via Awin or by us.

“Tracked Transaction” = a purchase recorded by Awin as originating from your Awin tracking link (subject to validation).

“Commission” = the amount shown in Awin for approved transactions, subject to validation and these Program Terms.

“Gessato Marks” = “Gessato,” “Gessato Design Store,” shop.gessato.com, and any confusingly similar variants/misspellings, plus logos and trademarks.

“Prohibited Software” = adware, spyware, malware, browser extensions/toolbars that trigger affiliate clicks, click-injection tools, forced redirects, or anything that interferes with tracking or user intent.

ENROLLMENT AND ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Application review
We may approve or reject any application at our sole discretion.

2.2 Accurate profile information (required)
You must keep your Awin profile accurate and current, including ALL websites, domains, subdomains, apps, browser extensions, and social accounts where you place affiliate links.

2.3 Ongoing eligibility
Approval is not permanent. We may suspend or remove you at any time for violations, suspicious activity, poor-quality traffic, or brand risk.

PERMITTED PROMOTION METHODS (OKAY)

You may promote Gessato only in ways that are truthful and user-initiated, including:

Editorial content (reviews, gift guides, articles)

Organic social posts on your own accounts (with proper disclosures)

Email newsletters to your own opted-in list (see Section 9)

Coupon/deal listings ONLY using authorized codes (see Section 8)

Paid ads ONLY if compliant with Section 7 (PPC rules)

PROHIBITED PROMOTION METHODS (NOT OKAY)

You may not, directly or indirectly:

4.1 Mislead users
No false claims, fake scarcity, fake endorsements, misleading “official” wording, “authorized” or “partner” claims, or anything that confuses users about who you are.

4.2 Impersonate Gessato
You may not represent yourself as Gessato, a Gessato employee, a Gessato-owned account, or an official representative.

4.3 Unsolicited outreach / spam
No unsolicited email, SMS, DMs, comments, or forum posts.

4.4 Tracking hijacking or attribution manipulation
No click injection, forced clicks, adware, toolbars, extensions that trigger affiliate clicks, or any method that overwrites legitimate attribution.

4.5 Cookie stuffing / forced click behavior
No cookie stuffing, hidden iframes, auto-redirects, auto-triggered popups, or any tracking that is not the result of a real, intentional user click.

4.6 Incentivized / low-integrity traffic (unless approved in writing)
No “get paid to click,” paid-to-read, paid-to-search, survey/task platforms, or similar sources unless explicitly approved by us in writing.

4.7 Abuse tactics
No promotion designed to generate returns, cancellations, disputes, or chargebacks.

4.8 Scraping / misuse of content
No scraping our site outside permitted feed/API usage, and no violation of robots.txt or rate limits.

CONTENT AND BRAND-SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Your sites/channels must not:

Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights

Break applicable laws or regulations

Include hateful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or sexually explicit content

Target minors or include harmful-to-minors content

Distribute malware, deceptive downloads, or malicious code

We may request screenshots and placement examples at any time.

LINKS, TRACKING, AND PROGRAM MATERIALS

6.1 Use Awin tracking only
You must use links and tracking provided via Awin (or provided by us through Awin).

6.2 No manipulation or masking
Do not alter tracking parameters, mask referrers, or hide traffic source.

6.3 No framing / mirroring
You may not frame, mirror, or copy the Gessato Site look and feel in a way that causes confusion.

6.4 Redirect restrictions
Redirects intended to disguise the true placement/source are prohibited.

6.5 Accuracy required
Prices, availability, shipping claims, and promo claims must be accurate and updated promptly.

PPC / PAID MEDIA RULES (STRICT)

7.1 NO trademark bidding
You may not bid on or target Gessato Marks (including misspellings/variants). This includes, without limitation:

gessato design store

shop.gessato.com

“gessato coupon”, “gessato promo code”, “gessato discount”, etc.

7.2 NO Gessato Marks in ads
You may not use Gessato Marks in ad titles, copy, display URL, account names, or extensions without written permission.

7.3 NO direct-linking from paid ads
Paid ads must land on your own site first (real content page). No direct-to-merchant affiliate linking.

7.4 NO Shopping/PLA without written permission
You may not run Google Shopping/PLA for Gessato products unless explicitly approved.

7.5 NO Gessato-branded retargeting without written permission
You may not retarget users using Gessato branding/logos/product creatives unless explicitly approved.

Enforcement: trademark bidding is zero-tolerance and can result in immediate removal and commission reversals.

COUPON / DEAL RULES (DESIGNED TO CLOSE “COUPON GUY” LOOPHOLES)

8.1 Authorized codes ONLY
You may only promote:

Codes/offers explicitly provided through Awin for this Program, OR

Offers publicly displayed on the Gessato Site that are clearly available to all customers

Prohibited unless also provided in Awin:

codes from customer emails, abandoned cart, SMS, influencer codes, customer service “one-off” codes, or any non-affiliate channel

8.2 No “working codes” lists, guessing, or auto-generation
You may not:

post “try these codes” lists containing unauthorized codes

claim “tested today” unless you tested the exact code and it is authorized

publish codes with “may work” disclaimers as a workaround

use any automated method to generate or rotate codes

8.3 Required display rules for coupons
If you show a code, you must also show:

the exact code

the full terms (minimums/exclusions/restrictions)

the expiration date (if provided) or “No published expiration” (if that’s the case)

8.4 No click-to-reveal / copy-to-clipboard that forces tracking
No overlays, “reveal code” buttons, click-to-copy, or any setup that forces an affiliate click to view the code.

8.5 No “exclusive” claims unless explicitly designated
Do not claim a code is exclusive/private unless we explicitly label it as such in Awin or in writing.

8.6 No misrepresentation of ongoing site policies
You may not present normal sitewide policies (example: free shipping threshold) as a special “deal” that requires clicking your link.

8.7 Brand-coupon SEO capture
If your site ranks for or targets “Gessato coupon / promo code / discount” queries, we reserve the right to reduce rates, remove you, or reverse commissions tied to misleading pages or unauthorized code activity.

8.8 Domain restrictions (coupon domains included)
You may not register or use any domain/subdomain containing Gessato Marks or confusing variants (including “gessato-coupons” style domains).

EMAIL / SMS / MESSAGING RULES

Opt-in only (no purchased lists, no cold outreach)

Must clearly be sent by you (not by Gessato)

Must comply with CAN-SPAM and other applicable laws (and GDPR/PECR where relevant)

We may request examples and require changes/removal

SOCIAL MEDIA RULES

Allowed:

Affiliate links on your own accounts with disclosure

Not allowed:

Posting affiliate links on Gessato-owned pages/accounts

Accounts/handles using Gessato Marks or confusing variants

Paid social ads using Gessato Marks without written permission

DISCLOSURES (FTC AND EQUIVALENTS)

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever required. Disclosures must be clear, obvious, and near the affiliate link/endorsement (not buried or hidden). If you received product/payment/benefits, disclose that too.

ORDER VALIDATION, RETURNS, AND COMMISSION REVERSALS

Commission is earned only on validated transactions.

We may reject/reverse commissions for (non-exhaustive):

cancellations

returns (full or partial)

exchanges removing the original item

duplicate tracking or attribution errors

fraud/suspicious/high-risk orders

stolen payment methods

violations of these Program Terms (including coupon/PPC violations)

self-dealing where prohibited by Awin or by us

Partial returns may reduce commission. Chargebacks/disputes may cause reversals. We may delay validation for review where needed.

AUDIT AND INFORMATION REQUESTS

We may request reasonable information to confirm compliance, including traffic sources, placements, screenshots, paid keyword lists, and coupon sources. Failure to respond promptly and truthfully may result in reversals or suspension.

RELATIONSHIP OF PARTIES

You and Contemporarities LLC are independent contractors. Nothing creates a partnership, employment relationship, agency, franchise, or sales representation. You may not bind us or make commitments on our behalf.

TERMINATION / PROGRAM CHANGES

We may suspend/terminate participation at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Program Terms at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Contemporarities LLC and Gessato Design Store from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your promotions, your breach of these Program Terms/Awin rules, or your violation of law/rights of others.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY / DISCLAIMERS

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to the Program.

Our total liability will not exceed commissions paid or payable to you for validated transactions in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Program and site are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted tracking or any specific results. We may modify or discontinue the Program at any time.

GOVERNING LAW

These Program Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York (without regard to conflict of law rules). Disputes must be brought in state or federal courts located in New York, New York, unless a court requires otherwise. We may seek injunctive relief in any competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
