ShareASale Affiliate Program – Promotional Restrictions Addendum
Effective Date: May 17, 2025
To protect the integrity of the Carlinkit brand and ensure fair affiliate practices, all affiliates must strictly comply with the following rules. These terms are effective as of May 17, 2025, and apply to all existing and future affiliate activities. Violations may result in immediate termination from the program and commission reversals.
1. Prohibited Use of Carlinkit Brand Terms in Paid Search
Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on the following brand terms (and any close variations, misspellings, or combinations) in any paid search platform such as Google Ads or Bing Ads:
carlinkit, carlinkit.com, carlinkit factory, carlinkit factory store
Any domain name, URL, or subdomain that includes our brand
Using the brand name in ad copy, titles, or display URLs is also not allowed
Affiliates may not compete with Carlinkit’s official paid advertising efforts.
2. No Promotion via Browser Extensions, Plugins, or Toolbars
Affiliates may not use browser extensions, coupon plugins, toolbars, or any form of software that:
Injects coupon codes at checkout
Redirects traffic using passive methods
Displays pop-ups, overlays, or automatic offers
Hijacks or overwrites legitimate referral sources
Examples of disallowed platforms include: Honey, Capital One Shopping, Wildfire Systems, and other similar tools.
3. No Self-Referrals or Personal Orders
Affiliates may not earn commissions from:
Orders they place themselves
Orders placed by friends, family, employees, or other affiliated persons
Any personal or internal use
Such orders will be voided, and commissions reversed.
4. No Fraudulent, Misleading, or Incentivized Orders
Affiliates must not:
Use unauthorized or misleading coupon codes
Make false claims to boost conversions
Engage in fraudulent practices that manipulate tracking, traffic, or customer behavior
All suspicious transactions will be investigated and may result in retroactive reversals.
5. Compliance and Enforcement
We reserve the right to audit affiliate activity at any time. Any violations of these terms may result in:
Immediate termination from the Carlinkit affiliate program
Reversal of unpaid and previously paid commissions
Reporting to ShareASale’s Compliance Team
