Morningstar, Inc. Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Definitions. Throughout this Agreement, the following definitions apply:
"Morningstar" means Morningstar, Inc..
User Terms
- Commissions will be paid out on memberships, not trials, unless otherwise mentioned by Morningstar. A membership is defined by a user finishing their 7-day trial and then making a payment to Morningstar on day 15 for their selected membership term. You will receive your commissions up to 60 days after the close of a given month.
- You may only use creative assets such as text ads and display ads that have been pre-approved by Morningstar in writing or provided to you through Awin.
- You will ensure that your site remains brand safe and contains all FTC disclosures representing your affiliation with Morningstar.
- You will not alter approved content in any way unless given written consent from Morningstar.
- After receiving written notice, you will promptly remove any content that is no longer approved by Morningstar. If no action is taken within 7 business days, you will be removed from the Morningstar program.
- You will not bid on branded keywords or search terms without express written permission from Morningstar.
- You will not take any action that may confuse any consumer as to your relationship with Morningstar.
- You will not post or serve links to Morningstar within any pop-up or pop-under windows, transitional page ads, or layer ads on any platform of which you are not the operator.
- You will not attempt to intercept or redirect traffic to Morningstar.
- You will not artificially generate clicks whether by way of a robot, software program, or otherwise.
- You will not cloak, hide, spoof, or otherwise obscure the URL of your mobile platforms or those of your sub affiliates such that we cannot reasonably determine the platform from which traffic originated.
- Reversal Policy: Reversal of performance advertising actions are decided by Morningstar, and are subject to a maximum reversal percentage of 100%.
- Morningstar and you are independent entities and neither this Agreement, nor your participation in the Program will be construed to create a joint venture or agency.
