DEFINITIONS
As used in these terms and conditions: (i) "We", "us", or "our" refers to horrorpack.com and our website; (ii) "you" or "your" refers to the Affiliate; (iii) "our website" refers to the horrorpack.com web property available at https://horrorpack.com/; (iv) "your website" refers to any websites or pages that you will use to link to our website; (v) "Program" refers to the horrorpack.com Affiliate Program.
ENROLLMENT
Approval into the Program is at the sole discretion of our team. Upon receiving your application, we will review your websites and promotional methods and notify you of your acceptance or rejection into our Program. Listing all websites in your network profile and describing promotional methods in your application will help us reach a decision. We reserve the right to reject any application for any reason. Feel free to contact us if you believe a decision was made in err and should be reviewed.
COOKIES
The HorrorPack Affiliate Program offers a 1 day cookie window.
WEBSITE RESTRICTIONS
Your participating website and promotional methods may not:
1. Infringe on our or any anyone else's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
2. Violate any law, rule or regulation.
3. Contain any content that is threatening, harassing, defamatory, libelous, abusive, hate-oriented, harmful to minors, illegal, or contains pornography.
4. Contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, hack, interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data, or personal information.
PROHIBITED PROMOTION
Defaming or slandering HorrorPack by name or any employee name, representative, image, products or any other defamatory statement either electronically, in print, web or media, on blogs, forums, or social media platforms is prohibited. Do not use the word “scam” or other negative clickbait words in titles, articles, or other promotional material to attract clicks to your promotional website or page.
PPC BIDDING RULES
PPC campaigns are allowed. However, our PPC bidding rules prohibit you from bidding on our brand, "HorrorPack", "HorrorPack.com”, "Horror Pack”, or any common misspellings, in PPC campaigns. You may also not set a PPC display url to appear as the url of our website or a similar misspelling. If you are found to do violate these rules, we reserve the right to void your current and past commissions or set your commission level to 0%.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Promotion on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, and other social media platforms is permitted under the following conditions and guidelines:
1. Social media accounts should be directly associated with your affiliate account on ShareASale.
2. You may not post your link on HorrorPack-owned social media.
LINKING TO OUR WEBSITE
Upon acceptance into the Program, links will be made available to you through the affiliate interface. Your acceptance in our program means you agree to and abide by the following:
1. All domains that use your affiliate link must be listed in your affiliate profile.
2. Your Website will not in any way copy or resemble the look and feel of our Website. You will also not use any means to create the impression that your Website is our Website or any part of our Website.
4. You may not engage in cookie stuffing or include pop-ups, false, or misleading links on your website. In addition, you will not attempt to mask the referring url information.
5. Using redirects to bounce a click off of a domain from which the click did not originate in order to give the appearance that it came from that domain is prohibited. If you are found redirecting links to hide or manipulate their original source, your current and past commissions will be voided or your commission level will be set to 0%. This does not include using "out" redirects from the same domain where the affiliate link is placed.
COUPON GUIDELINES
If you are enrolled in our Program and your Website promotes coupon codes, you must adhere to our Coupon Guidelines as follows:
1. You may ONLY advertise coupon codes that are provided to you through the affiliate program or network or that are displayed on our website(s).
2. Publishing any information describing how to subvert the requirements of a coupon/promotion (i.e. first time customers only) will result in removal from the program or commissions set to 0%.
3. Coupons must be displayed in their entirety with the full offer, valid expiration date and code.
4. You may NOT use any technology that covers up the coupon code and generates the affiliate click by revealing the code(s).
5. You may NOT advertise coupon codes obtained from our non-affiliate advertising, customer e-mails, paid search, or any other campaign.
6. You may NOT give the appearance that any ongoing offer requires clicking from your website in order to redeem. For example, if all items on the site have free shipping over a dollar amount, you may not represent this as an offer that implies that the customer must click your link to get this promotion.
DOMAIN NAMES
Use of any of our trademarked terms or branded terms as part of the domain or sub-domain for your website is strictly prohibited. Do not engage in cybersquatting, typo-squatting, or other misleading methods on the HorrorPack.com name or brand.
E-MAIL
E-mails must be can-spam compliant and FTC compliant.
FTC AFFILIATE DISCLOSURES
You shall include a disclosure statement on any site where your links are posted. The Program requires you to stay abreast of current FTC rules and regulations, and to stay compliant of those regulations according to the FTC’s recommended best practices. In the case that you receive items from us for free in exchange for review, you must also disclose this fact.
OPERATIONS OUTSIDE UNITED STATES
If you are conducting business in other countries, you shall follow the laws of those countries.
TERMINATIONS
We pride ourselves on a low rate of termination. However, it is possible that program affiliate partners may be either terminated or have their commissions set to 0% for violating our terms.
