Validations
All commissions will be validated on a 45-day period and shaws.ie reserves the right to decline commission on returned goods and cancelled orders.
Transactions
Transaction values that commissions are paid on do not include VAT, Delivery charges, Credit card fees, Gift wrapping or any other service charge
Commissions can be declined for several reasons including but not limited to: Order cancelled, Item returned, Order not made online, Customer failed credit check, Breach of program terms by affiliate, Duplicate order
Branding
Affiliates are provided with brand guidelines, brand assets, banners and brand components that have been designed by Shaws Marketing . Please use these assets where possible and comply with brand presentation guidelines.
Shaws team will work to ensure any creative produced by affiliates is compliant with brand guidelines, persistent non-compliance may result in suspension from the program
Voucher Codes
Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the Shaws affiliate programme.
Affiliates may not promote voucher codes that are exclusive to a different affiliate. Shaws Department Stores reserves the right to withhold payment of commission on all sales where an exclusive voucher code to another partner has been used.
Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised voucher codes will have all pending commissions declined until the unauthorised voucher codes are removed.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates who are displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme.
PPC
Affiliates are not allowed to promote Shaws Department Stores via PPC
Affiliates are not allowed to promote Shaws Department Stores via Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, Other)
Affiliate sales through specific keywords including brand terms are not eligible for commission
Campaigns
From time to time, Shaws Department Stores may share details of upcoming campaigns or promotions with its affiliates under embargo. Affiliates must not share this information publicly or with any other company ahead of its launch date, when an embargo is in place. Doing so may result in loss of commissions and/or termination from the programme.
Email policy
Affiliates are not permitted to send any unsolicited email (“spam”) under this affiliate program. This is extended to include all forms of spam including blog comment spamming.
Scraping
Note that affiliates are not permitted to scrape the website for information
