Hello Updo Affiliate Program Agreement
Effective Date: October 16, 2024
This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions between Hello Updo ("Company") and affiliates ("Affiliate") who wish to participate in the Hello Updo Affiliate Program through ShareASale.
1. Program Overview
Hello Updo’s Affiliate Program rewards Affiliates for driving sales of Hello Updo products through their unique affiliate links on ShareASale. As a leader in inclusive and innovative hair care accessories, Hello Updo values authenticity, quality, and brand alignment in every affiliate relationship.
2. Eligibility and Enrollment
To participate, Affiliates must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have an approved ShareASale account.
- Not engage in any activities that conflict with Hello Updo’s brand values, including illegal, hateful, or discriminatory content.
Hello Updo reserves the right to approve or deny any Affiliate application at its sole discretion.
3. Trademark Regulations
Affiliates may use Hello Updo’s trademarks, logos, and approved promotional materials solely for purposes of promoting Hello Updo. All use of trademarks must comply with Hello Updo’s branding guidelines and must not be altered or misrepresented in any form. Unauthorized use, including in domain names or social handles, is prohibited and grounds for termination and legal action if deemed needed.
4. Email Marketing Policy
Affiliates are allowed to promote Hello Updo products via email marketing only if the recipients have opted in to receive promotional content from the affiliate. Affiliates must also include clear opt-out instructions for recipients in all communications. Spamming or mass unsolicited email marketing (spam) is strictly prohibited.
5. FTC Disclosure Requirements
Affiliates must adhere to FTC guidelines, including clearly disclosing their affiliate relationship with Hello Updo in all promotional content. Disclosure should be prominently visible, stating that any commissions received are a result of affiliate links.
6. Social Media Policy
Affiliates may promote Hello Updo products through social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Each post must comply with platform rules and include a clear disclosure of the affiliate relationship (e.g., #ad or #affiliate). Misleading or unauthorized content that implies Hello Updo endorsement or sponsorship beyond the Affiliate Program is strictly prohibited.
7. Coupon/Deal Policy
Affiliates are prohibited from posting unauthorized coupon codes for Hello Updo. Only codes provided directly by Hello Updo for Affiliate use on ShareASale are allowed. Affiliates found sharing invalid or unauthorized coupon codes may face termination and loss of commission on resulting sales.
8. Compensation
Commission Rate: Affiliates will earn a 8% commission on verified sales generated through their unique ShareASale affiliate links.
Special Commission Rules: Commission is only earned on sales generated through direct, valid referrals and excludes purchases made by the Affiliate or their immediate family members.
Payout Schedule: Payments are made monthly through ShareASale, following a validation period of 30 days to confirm completed transactions.
Exclusions: Commissions are not paid on returns, refunds, or canceled orders.
9. Pay Per Click (PPC) Bidding Rule
Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on any keywords, including "Hello Updo," “Hello Updo hair accessories,” or similar branded terms on any pay-per-click advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and others. Violations will result in termination of the Affiliate’s participation in the program.
10. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates agree not to:
- Engage in cookie stuffing, unauthorized pop-ups, or any deceptive marketing practices.
- Use misleading, exaggerated, or false claims about Hello Updo’s products or services.
- Use the Hello Updo brand in a way that could misrepresent the brand or damage its reputation.
11. Grounds for Termination
Hello Updo reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Affiliate account without prior notice for:
- Violating any terms of this Agreement.
- Unauthorized use of Hello Updo’s trademarks or coupon codes.
- Discrimination
- Using foul language
- Engaging in spam or unsolicited email marketing.
- Violating PPC bidding rules.
- Failing to comply with FTC disclosure requirements.
Upon termination, Affiliates must immediately remove all Hello Updo links, logos, and content from their promotional channels.
12. Intellectual Property
Hello Updo grants Affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Hello Updo’s approved trademarks, logos, and promotional materials in a manner consistent with this Agreement. Any alteration, modification, or misuse is prohibited.
13. Modification of Agreement
Hello Updo reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Affiliates will be notified of any changes to the terms, and continued participation in the Hello Updo Affiliate Program constitutes acceptance of those changes.
14. Acceptance
By joining the Hello Updo Affiliate Program on ShareASale, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
