Interflora British Unit Terms & Conditions for Affiliates


General

Interflora reserves the right to terminate affiliates who are in breach of any of these Affiliate Terms and Conditions without notice.

Interflora also reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be communicated via AWin and published within the AWin interface.


Reward Model

  • Our reward model is a last click to basket model that rewards affiliates when they provide the final interaction before the customer adds a product to the shopping basket.
  •  We aim to validate all orders with 7 days.
  •  Interflora reserves the right to refuse to validate and pay commission on orders generated by any affiliate not complying with these terms and conditions, e.g. mis-use of the Interflora brand.
  •  We will reward affiliates that drive converting traffic to Interflora and do not overwrite sales with activity that occurs beyond the shopping basket page.


Paid Search

Please be aware that Interflora is a registered trade mark owned by Interflora, Inc. in the USA. Interflora British Unit has an exclusive license agreement from the trade mark owner to use the wordmark Interflora in the UK and other territories within our jurisdiction. As a result of our License Agreement we take protection of our brand very seriously and therefore have put the following regulations in place in respect of our brand term Interflora.


Publishers are not permitted to use Interflora, mis-spells of Interflora or any confusingly similar terms to Interflora to run paid search campaigns as part of the affiliate scheme. The only exception to this would be if express written permission is given by Interflora.


Natural Search


Affiliates are not permitted to optimise their websites in natural search by using any of the following:

  •  the term INTERFLORA
  •  INTERFLORA + generic term (example Interflora voucher code)
  • Any confusingly similar terms to Interflora
  • Any mis-spells of Interflora


The only exception to this would be if express written permission is given by Interflora.
Voucher codes Any affiliate operating a voucher code site or wishing to promote Interflora voucher codes must first confirm with AWin or Interflora directly as different commission rates apply. Voucher code affiliates will be set to a default 4% commission


When promoting Interflora, Affiliates must only promote voucher codes which have been issued to them via AWin or directly by the Interflora account manager. Voucher codes distributed by Interflora through any other channel must not be published on affiliate sites, where this occurs Interflora reserves the right to reverse/decline commissions on any orders generated by such activity. Any affiliate requiring bespoke/exclusive discounts should contact AWin/Interflora directly to request.


AWin has signed up to Voucher Code best practice supported by the IAB and so therefore jointly enforce the code of conduct by not working with affiliates who do not comply with the following:

 

  • Using 'Click to Reveal' when there is no valid or current code present is not permitted of affiliate publishers including using 'Click to Reveal' to show any deals/offers/sales instead of vouchers.
  • Voucher code affiliate publishers must clearly detail the voucher offer that will be revealed by the click.
  • A valid code is defined as a code that has been legitimately issued by a merchant for use online. This code will have an activation date and where necessary a deactivation date.
  • Voucher code directories must contain clear categorization and separation between deals/offers/sales and discount codes


Linking/Creative Interflora request that affiliates only use URL’s that have been provided to them by either AWin or Interflora directly. Interflora have additional tagging systems in place and use of non-tracked links may result in affiliate orders not being verified as true affiliate orders, thus resulting in commissions not being paid.


Affiliates may only use creative elements that are available via the AWin platform including banners, floral imagery and our company logo.


When using the Interflora branding e.g. wordmark INTERFLORA, the MERCURY MAN EMBLEM and our strapline ‘The Flower Experts’ affiliates must adhere to our brand guidelines at all times. Our brand guidelines can be found under the documents tab within the AWin interface. Please contact AWin or Interflora directly with any further creative requirements.


Display URL
Using INTERFLORA, in the sub folder or in the sub domain of the display URL (e.g. www.affiliate.com/interflora is permitted but prior approval to use is required. Please contact AWin or Interflora directly.
Using INTERFLORA, a confusingly similar or a mis-spelling of INTERFLORA in the display URL (e.g. www.interflora.co.uk or www.intaflora.co.uk) is not permitted.


Using any confusingly similar terms to INTERFLORA or any mis-spellings of INTERFLORA in the sub folder or sub domain of the display URL (e.g. inteflora.affiliate.com, intraflora.com) is permitted .


Ad copy
Affiliates may use INTERFLORA in the advertisement title, providing the ad links to a page of Interflora content.


Affiliates may use INTERFLORA in the advertisement text, providing the advertisement links to a page of Interflora content.


Social Media
Please be advised that all references within these Terms and Conditions also cover the promotion of Interflora via all media channels and includes, but is not limited to, social media, mobile and video channels.
The Interflora brand should not be used in any way to register accounts on social media or via any other channel.


General
Affiliates must, at all times whilst part of this affiliate programme be responsible in their use of Interflora’s intellectual property, which includes, but is not limited to, the wordmark, INTERFLORA, the MERCURY MAN EMBLEM, the strapline THE FLOWER EXPERTS.


Affiliates must avoid use of Interflora’s intellectual property which may be interpreted as “spamming” or misrepresenting Interflora.


In the event of an Affiliate terminating their relationship or Interflora or Affiliate Window removing an affiliate from the programme, all Interflora intellectual property must be removed from the Affiliates website and any related activities within 7 days of the date of termination.


When listing Interflora products and services It is not permitted for an Affiliate to pass themselves off as Interflora or to mislead users/customers to believe that they are Interflora. An Affiliate promoting Interflora, with the purpose of generating web traffic or calls, must clearly display to their users/customers that they will be transferred from the Affiliates website to Interflora.co.uk.
