Thrifty UK PPC Restrictions/ Guidelines
Subject to all other applicable requirements of these Guidelines, Partners:
• can include our trade mark in the sub folders of the display URLs in your Search Engine Adverts. Example: http.yourdomain.com/thrifty
• are NOT allowed to include our trade mark in the sub domain of the display URLs in your search engine adverts. Example: http://thrifty.yourdomain.com
• are NOT allowed to operate domains which contain our trade mark for the sole purpose of driving traffic from search engines. Example: http://thrifty.co.uk
• are NOT allowed to use our trade mark in your ad copy title
• are allowed to use our trade mark in your ad copy body
• are NOT allowed to conduct or engage in any search engine advertising which utilises our trade mark in any way whether on its own or in conjunction with any other word or words
• are NOT allowed to show adverts for a search on our trade mark in conjunction with generic terms. (i.e. brand with generic terms) Example: Thrifty UK Car Rental
• are NOT allowed to conduct or engage in any third party display advertising which utilises our trade mark in any way whether on its own or in conjunction with any other word or words
• are required to add our trade mark plus misspellings of the same to your negative keyword list
• are NOT allowed to show misspellings of our trade mark on your website or in your meta tags or alt tags
• are NOT allowed to make any other use of our trade mark
• are NOT allowed to remove content from the Thrifty UK website (including images and video) and duplicate this onto your own website without prior written authorisation from Thrifty UK
• are required to ensure that the Thrifty UK brand is positively portrayed at all times.
PPC Negative Keywords
‘Thrifty UK’ (or any misspellings)
'Thrifty UK Car Rental'
'Thrifty UK Van Rental'
'Thrifty UK Car & Van Rental'
Plus you should not have Thrifty UK (or any shortenings of brand or resort name) in the title of your PPC advert.
Affiliate PPC Policy
No PPC direct to site. No PPC on brand related names, variations or misspellings. PPC on generic terms is allowed to the affiliate site.
