Content & ASA

From March 1st 2011, a new ASA digital remit came into effect. The affiliate must understand how this affects them and ensure they always comply with the relevant codes. For details of this recent extension to the ASA's remit, please visit the Affiliate Window blog for more information: http://blog.affiliatewindow.com/?p=2693

Affiliates do not have permission to rely on or republish content about Boxed2me.co.uk that comes from unauthorised third parties and are strongly advised to avoid using third-party providers because the content's accuracy may not be guaranteed. Affiliates may only use the information provided to them directly by the Boxed2me.co.uk affiliate manager, through News Manager or via the Affiliate Window account executive for the programme.

If affiliates are communicating messages about Boxed2me.co.uk in social spaces such as forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc, they must be careful to ensure that any affiliate link can easily be recognised as being part of an affiliate relationship and cannot be confused with non-sponsored user-generated content. Affiliates working in these social environments should consult with the ASA website to determine the most appropriate ways for them to tweet or re-tweet materials and/or how to post on forums.

PPC & Term Use

Please note that the Boxed2me.co.uk program does not allow any PPC bidding on their brand name, trademarks, or variations or misspells of these.

Unless explicitly agreed with an affiliate, we do not allow affiliates to run PMAX / Google Shopping / Yahoo Shop / Microsoft Shopping ads on our product range.

Affiliates are advised to negatively match the brand terms, trademarks, variations, and misspellings to avoid any accidental bidding and penalties. Appearing for these prohibited terms plus generics is also not permitted at any time. Please ensure that your ads are not appearing due to broad matching by negatively matching all of the below terms. Be aware that this is not an exhaustive list, and other variations are also not permitted.

Prohibited advertised examples of brand terms include, but are not exclusive to, this kind of examples or other hybrid terms: boxedtoome.co.uk, box2me.co.uk, box-2me, box2-me, etc. Examples of prohibited terms plus generics which are not permitted include, but are not exclusive to: 'Boxed2me.co.uk Discounts', 'Boxed2me.co.uk Discount Codes', 'Boxed2me.co.uk Vouchers', 'Boxed2me.co.uk Offers, 'Boxed2me.co.uk Codes' 'Boxed2me.co.uk Sales'. This is not an exhaustive list, and you should work to the spirit of our terms at all times.

Affiliates should add the terms mentioned above as negative broad-match keywords.

These terms apply to all PPC search engines, content networks (for example, the Google Content Network and similar for additional search engines) and PPC channels (i.e. Facebook PPC, etc.).

Further PPC details/restrictions can be found in our Darwin profile.

Voucher Code Policy

Affiliates do not have permission to leak or publish any promotion or code prior to its start date under any circumstances. Affiliates should be aware that Boxed2me.co.uk will upload codes for affiliate use to the Affiliate Window Discount Vouchers feed. At no point should any of these codes be promoted on affiliates' sites prior to their start date. If any sales using these codes are generated before the code start date, these commissions will be declined.

Affiliates may only promote codes provided through the Boxed2me.co.uk affiliate program (either through our account or directly from the Boxed2me.co.uk Affiliate Manager).

The use of Voucher codes not currently listed on the Boxed2me.co.uk programme may result in reversed or cancelled commissions.

Boxed2me.co.uk reserves the right to withhold commission payment if unauthorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale. We appreciate that consumers may use voucher codes that they have found via a site other than that awarded the sale. This will be investigated before decisions on commission payments are made. Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised codes may also have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed.

Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date, this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as expired may be suspended from the programme. Please also ensure that you observe the IAB voucher code best practice guidelines.

Investigation & Pentalty

Any unauthorised activity will be investigated, during which time your commissions may be suspended or set to zero. A warning will be sent notifying you of the area(s) of concern, and you will be given no more than 7 days to make the necessary changes. You will notify us in writing once this action has been taken. Failure to comply or respond within the time frame may result in you remaining on 0% commission until such action has been taken, or you may be removed from the programme. Serious or repeated breaches may also result in you suffering further commission penalties and/or being immediately removed from the programme.
