Program Agreement for The Mediterranean Dish Affiliate Program
By joining The Mediterranean Dish Affiliate Program on Awin, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Restrictions on Competing Activities
Affiliates may not promote or represent products or services that directly compete with The Mediterranean Dish. This includes (but is not limited to) featuring competing Mediterranean food brands, olive oils, or spice companies on websites, stores, or promotional channels tied to your affiliate account.
2. Paid Advertising Restrictions
Affiliates may not use search engine marketing (SEM), pay-per-click (PPC), Google Shopping, Amazon ads, or other paid advertising channels to promote The Mediterranean Dish without prior written approval.
3. Brand Guidelines
Affiliates must follow the official brand guidelines provided by The Mediterranean Dish, including use of approved logos, product images, and messaging. Any unauthorized or altered use of brand assets is prohibited.
4. Content Guidelines
All affiliate content must be accurate, ethical, and aligned with the values of The Mediterranean Dish. Misleading claims, offensive material, or content that could harm the brand’s reputation is strictly forbidden.
5. Social Media Usage
Affiliates are encouraged to promote The Mediterranean Dish across social media platforms. However, posts must avoid negative commentary, false claims, or any activity that may damage the brand image.
6. Keyword Bidding and Paid Placement
Affiliates may not bid on The Mediterranean Dish, its product names, or related terms (e.g., “Mediterranean diet,” “Mediterranean shop,” “Mediterranean food”) for advertising purposes. Affiliates are also prohibited from purchasing or placing paid display banners, search ads, or product listings featuring these terms.
7. Discount and Coupon Sites
Affiliates may not promote The Mediterranean Dish on coupon or discount-focused websites (e.g., Offers.com, CouponBirds, Slickdeals). Unauthorized discount codes or promotions are strictly prohibited.
8. Confidentiality
Affiliates must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information, including commission structures, promotional campaigns, and other non-public program details.
9. Compliance with Awin Terms
All affiliates must comply with Awin’s Publisher Terms and Conditions in addition to this agreement. Any violation of Awin’s or The Mediterranean Dish’s policies may result in immediate removal from the program.
10. Termination
The Mediterranean Dish reserves the right to terminate any affiliate relationship at its sole discretion, with or without cause, if it determines that these terms (or Awin’s terms) have been violated or if the partnership is no longer deemed appropriate.
