By applying to or participating in the HeartlandVetSupply.com affiliate program—including through third-party platforms—you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, in addition to any guidelines provided separately by Heartland Vet Supply.
Enrollment and Acceptance
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid website, social media platform, or marketing channel for which you have legal rights to promote.
- Approval: Participation in the program is at the discretion of Heartland Vet Supply. We reserve the right to reject applications or terminate accounts for any reason.
- Modifications: Heartland Vet Supply may modify these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review the most current Terms periodically.
Use of Intellectual Property
- Trademarks & Copyrights: You are prohibited from using any Heartland Vet Supply trademarks, logos, URLs, or variations thereof—especially for the purpose of search engine optimization, paid advertising, or brand impersonation. This includes:
- Bidding on our brand or any similar terms in PPC campaigns.
- Using our brand names, misspellings, or variations in domain names or social media handles.
- Approved Usage: You may use provided creative materials (banners, text links, etc.) in their original form. Modifications require prior written consent.
Promotion Guidelines
Paid Search & Media Buying
- Affiliates may not bid on any of our trademarks, names, extensions, or variations as keywords on PPC or other media buying platforms, some including:
- “Heartland Vet Supply”
- “Heartland Veterinary Pharmacy”
- “Online Pet Pharmacy”
- These terms must be added to your negative keyword list. Failure to comply may result in the temporary suspension of commissions pending review and possible reversal of sales driven by the violation.
Social Media
- You must not create social media accounts using the Heartland Vet Supply name or imply endorsement by our brand without explicit prior approval.
- Do not tag, call out, or link to our official social profiles without written consent.
Coupon and Loyalty Sites
- Only use codes provided via our affiliate network. Do not advertise expired, non-affiliated, or fake codes.
- Posting discount codes on third-party sites or using codes exclusive to other partners without authorization is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Technologies
- The use of any adware, browser extensions, pop-ups, or similar technologies that interrupt the customer experience or inject tracking mechanisms is not permitted unless explicitly approved.
Disclaimers for Restricted Products
- When promoting age- or legally restricted products (e.g., nicotine, alcohol, tobacco), you must include appropriate disclaimers and comply with all applicable laws in regions where your audience is located.
Commission, Payment, and Tracking
- Commission Rate & Structure:
You will earn a 6% commission on eligible sales, exclusive of VAT and shipping costs, based on the final transaction amount after all discounts.- Commission is earned only on non-reversible sales.
- Cookie Duration:
Your commission will be credited for sales completed within 30 days of the initial click.
- Payment Terms:
- Payments will be made on a monthly basis (or as specified by our payment schedule) via the chosen payment method in your account.
- Any reversals or chargebacks due to returns or policy violations may result in a deduction from your earned commissions.
- Tracking:
Sales and traffic are tracked through our in-house system integrated with the affiliate platform. If discrepancies arise, Heartland Vet Supply’s affiliate team reserves the right to audit the data.
Program Management and Compliance
- In-House Management:
The Heartland Vet Supply Affiliate Program is managed internally by our dedicated affiliate team. We are committed to fostering ethical, long-term partnerships.
- Compliance with Law:
Affiliates must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as privacy and data protection regulations.
- Representations & Warranties:
You represent that you will not engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unethical marketing practices.
- Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heartland Vet Supply for any claims arising from your breach of these Terms.
Termination and Suspension
- Termination by Affiliate:
You may terminate your participation at any time by notifying us in writing. However, pending payments for approved sales will still be processed.
- Termination by Heartland Vet Supply:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in practices detrimental to our brand or customers.
- Effect of Termination:
Upon termination, you will immediately cease promoting Heartland Vet Supply, and pending commissions earned on valid transactions will be settled as per our payment terms.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
- Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Heartland Vet Supply operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules and will be conducted in the location determined by Heartland Vet Supply.
Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement:
These Terms, along with any other guidelines provided by Heartland Vet Supply, constitute the entire agreement between you and our company with respect to the affiliate program.
- Modifications:
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the affiliate program constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
