Program Terms

Affiliate Service Terms and Conditions

 

Effective Date: March 18, 2024

 

This Affiliate Service Terms and Conditions (the "Affiliate Terms") are made by and between RemoteHub, Inc. (“RemoteHub”), and you as an Affiliate (“You” or “Affiliate”) utilizing the AWIN service (the “Service"). 

 

You must agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained in these Affiliate Terms in order to participate in the program (the “Program”). Please read this Agreement carefully before registering and using the Service as an Affiliate. By signing up, you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and its terms and conditions. If you do not accept this Agreement, do not use the Affiliate Service.

 

ENROLLMENT

After receiving your application, we will review your website and notify you of your acceptance or rejection into our Program. Please allow up to 48 business hours for your application to be approved. We reserve the right to reject any application; however, we encourage you to contact us if you feel we have made an incorrect decision. Please include all websites that you use in your profile as that will help us make a better decision.

 

TERMS SUMMARY

  1. You may place our banners anywhere on your site as you see fit, or within non-spam emails.
  2. Adult, Hate, or other related sites are not allowed. You cannot link directly to the RemoteHub sites outside of the Affiliate Window platform.
  3. Any page containing our links, banners, or codes must be written in English.
  4. Affiliates need to get prior approval from RemoteHub if they wish to send out any emails about the program.
  5. You may place banners or links within your newsletters, in content of your website, or within other web related content.
  6. You may not place any advertisements in a "Desktop" advertising scheme. This includes any and all third-party advertising platforms that use a desktop application to display ads in any form.
  7. You may not display a merchant window that isn't the result of a direct click by the end-user. 
  8. Failure to abide by these rules could mean the suspension of your collaboration with a complete forfeit of commissions.

 

Fraud is a serious offense and will be treated as such. Fraud is defined as any action that intentionally attempts to create sales, leads, or click-throughs using robots, frames, iframes, scripts, or manually "refreshing" of pages, for the sole purpose of creating commissions. ANY ATTEMPTED FRAUD OR FRAUD WILL RESULT IN PROGRAM TERMINATION AND VOIDED COMMISSIONS.

We reserve the right to send e-mail to you for the purposes of informing you of applicable changes or additions to the Service or related products and services.   

 

CHANGES TO THE SERVICE 

We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Agreement at any time and may add to, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. In the event of any material change, we’ll notify you via e-mail, newsletter or at least 30 days prior to any such changes taking effect, at which time you may either agree to such changes or withdraw from the Service. 

 

COOKIES

RemoteHub operates a 30 day-cookie policy.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

RemoteHub will respect the privacy of its users and will not disclose personal information to third parties without the express permission of you and Your Company. If you have any questions, please contact support-agent@remotehub.com

 

ACTIVITIES

 

  1. Linking to our Website

Upon acceptance into the Program, links will be made available to you through the Affiliate Window interface (“Affiliate Window”). You agree that you will only use linking code obtained from Affiliate window without manipulation. Also, please ensure that all domains where you use our link are listed in your affiliate network profile.

 

You hereby agree that your website will not in any way copy, resemble, or mirror the look and feel of our website. You will also not use any means to create the impression that your website is our website or any part of our website including, without limitation, framing of our website in any manner. Cookie stuffing, pop-ups, and false or misleading links are strictly prohibited. In addition, wherever possible, you will not attempt to mask the referring URL information (i.e. the page from where the click is originating). Using redirects to bounce a click off of a domain where the click did not originate in order to give the appearance that it came from that domain is expressly prohibited and is a direct violation of the program. This does not include using "out" redirects from the same domain where the affiliate link is placed.

 

  1.  Pay Per Click Search Activity

Affiliates ARE NOT PERMITTED to carry out any PPC search activity sending traffic to https://www.remotehub.com/ directly. If an affiliate is found running PPC activity, this may result in them being removed from the program. Any affiliate found running PPC Activity will see their participation terminated immediately and any related commissions voided. Affiliates also must not send traffic through automatic redirects on a website page. Affiliates generating traffic to their own sites may not:

  • Use the RemoteHub brand term in the sub folder of the display URL. (for example, www.remotehub.com/affiliate)
  • Use the RemoteHub brand term in the sub domain of the display URL (for example, www.remotehubaffiliate.com)
  • Use RemoteHub brand term in your ad title, ad copy, display name or as the display URL.
  • Use RemoteHub brand in sequence with any other keyword.
  • Bid on any of our trademarked terms, including any variations or misspellings thereof for search or content-based campaigns on Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask or any other network.
  • Advertise as the brand.
  • Show adverts on competitors’ brands .

 

  1. Advertising as RemoteHub

Publishers are not allowed to do any form of advertising as the RemoteHub brand.

 

  1. Discount Code/Voucher code websites
  • Publishers must not display made up/invented discount codes on their site(s) or display discount codes that were intended for use in other channels or for other online publishers. If we become aware of this practice, your participation in the RemoteHub program will be terminated immediately and commissions voided.

 

  • Under no circumstances are publishers allowed to surreptitiously use i-frames to set cookies onto a user’s computer.

Discount code and deals publishers are accepted in the program as long as do not promote discount codes.

Only discount codes approved for the affiliate channel will be approved at the full 10% commission.

 

  1. Email Marketing

All email marketing must be signed off by RemoteHub through the Service.

 

  1. Scraping Policy

Affiliates are not allowed to run massive queries on our API, crawl or "page-scrape." Affiliates are also not allowed to use any robot, index, spider, click spam, macro programs, Internet agent, or other automatic device, program, algorithm, or methodology which does the same things, to use, access, copy, acquire information, input information, store information, or monitor any portion of the RemoteHub website. Any affiliate violating the above terms will be suspended from our affiliate program.

 

AFFILIATE PAYMENT

A 10% affiliate commission will be pre-approved after the order has been placed and confirmed by RemoteHub (the “Commission”). We can track all transactions generated from your site and operate a 365-day payment window.  Please note that commission will only be awarded for promotional offers on Affiliate Window. Manually entered promotional codes or offers promoted elsewhere will not be awarded commission.
