Hi there!

We’re excited about our potential collaboration. Below is not a script: We’ll leave the creative part to you. Instead, you’ll find info on the following:

  • Who we are and what we offer
  • Tips on how to talk about Audible membership
  • Call to action guidelines
  • Notes from our legal team
  • The Canadian Code of Advertising Standards (disclosure) Information
  • Tracking & Commissions
  • Trademark Usage Guidelines

At the end of the day, we’re looking for an authentic recommendation of our service and a clear CTA to get your audience started with a free trial.

So, who are we?

  • The Audible service for Canada, or Audible.ca, provides Audiobooks, Podcasts, and Original Content (“Originals”) via Audible.ca.
  • Audible lets you enjoy all your audio entertainment in one place. You’ll always find the best of what you love or something new to discover.
  • Audible offers an incredible selection of audiobooks across every genre—from best sellers and new releases to celebrity memoirs, mysteries and thrillers, motivation, wellness, business, and more.
  • You’ll discover exclusive Audible Originals from top celebrities, renowned experts, and exciting new voices in audio.
  • Audible also includes thousands of podcasts from popular favourites to exclusive new series.
  • As an Audible member, you can choose 1 title a month to keep from our entire catalogue—including the latest best sellers and new releases.
  • Members also get full access to a growing selection of included audiobooks, Audible Originals, and podcasts in the Audible Plus Catalogue. You can download or stream our included titles all you want.
  • The Audible app makes it easy to listen anytime, anywhere; while travelling, working out, walking, doing chores–you decide.
  • New members can try Audible free for 30 days

How to talk about Audible

  • Authenticity speaks more powerfully to audiences. Pick a title (or titles) that you can speak personally about and that your audience can relate to.
  • Point out that the included selection of titles makes Audible membership so much more valuable and gives all members a chance to discover new favourites and new formats—like the exclusive Words + Music series, or a podcast.
  • Be engaging, but casual.
  • Be informative, but fun.
  • Describe Audible like you’re telling a friend about can’t-miss stories.
  • Make Audible your go-to place for premium audio storytelling.
  • With a growing library of titles curated just for Canadians.
  • Something for everyone from beloved classics to the latest in pop culture.
  • Audible is perfect for listening on the go and infusing motivation and inspiration into your daily life.
  • Enjoy the gift of “found time” and enjoy Audible while commuting, cooking, exercising, gardening or just relaxing at home.
  • Get your first audiobook free when you sign up for a membership.
  • We encourage you to talk about any personal favourite audiobook or podcast on Audible that you enjoyed. The more personal, the better! If you need some suggestions, we invite you to check out these options that may resonate with your audience:
  • The Light Podcast (from Michelle Obama)
    • Oracle 2 (thriller/horror/true crime)
    • Sidney Crosby (sports/memoir)
    • Sleep Sound with Noah Reed (wellness/self-help)

Key Points to Convey

  • There’s more to imagine with Audible.
  • From best-selling audiobooks to podcasts to exclusive Originals.
  • Audible.ca is the home for all your favourite Canadian voices.

What we’re talking about right now

There’s more to imagine with Audible. Audible.ca is a destination that makes it easier than ever to discover the right content to enrich your life through innovative and exclusive content. As the leading destination for audio storytelling, Audible has thousands of titles inclusive of audiobooks, groundbreaking Originals, podcasts and so much more.

Things we’ve learned along the way

  • We prefer the use of audiobooks to books. We also have podcasts, guided wellness programs, theatrical performances, comedy, A-list memoirs, and Canadian Audible Originals.
  • In general, it’s more accurate to refer to our content holistically as Audible titles or simply, titles.
  • If you’re mentioning the breadth of our collection, audiences respond more favorably to general terms like “thousands of titles.”
  • Do reinforce Audible.ca (versus Audible.com or Audible)

Audible Canada Tracking Requirements

In order for Audible Canada to accurately track performance and attribute transactions to the correct publisher, it is mandatory to add a specific source code to the end of all Awin tracking links created for Audible Canada.

The source code to use is: &source_code=AWNPP30DTRIAL145080223000F

Please note that this source code needs to follow these parameters:

  • Added to the end of all URLs
  • Proceeded by an ampersand (&)
  • Underscore between the words “source” and “code”

Failure to add this source code will negatively impact tracking actual performance. Please note that if a publisher continues to not implement this source code, the Audible Canada team may need to make a decision to discontinue the partnership.
