Hieronder vind je een compleet overzicht van de richtlijnen en voorwaarden voor deelname aan het affiliate programma van Rentbird.

1.KEYWORD BUYING
Het inkopen van keywords in netwerken en zoekmachines is alléén toegestaan:
- Wanneer er vanuit de advertentie wordt gelinkt naar een eigen website/tussenpagina (geen automatische interstitial, redirects).
- Indien de benodigde negatieve zoekwoorden zijn opgevoerd teneinde onderstaande situaties uit te sluiten.
Niet toegestaan:
- Bieden op merknamen van adverteerder of aanverwante/misspellings daarvan (bijvoorbeeld Rentbird, Rentbird.nl, Renbird etc.).
- Indien keyword buying wordt ingezet dienen de juiste negatieve zoekwoorden te worden opgevoerd. Het is niet toegestaan dat advertenties van affiliates getoond worden op zoektermen waarin handelsmerken van de adverteerder voorkomen.
- Dit betreft het exacte merk (bijv. Rentbird), misspellingsvormen van het merk (bijv. Renbird, Rent bird, Rentabird) en merknamen in combinatie met andere woorden (bijv. Rentbird hurwoningen, Rentbird kortingscodes etc.).
- Gebruik van merknamen van adverteerder of combinaties hiervan, aanverwant/misspellings in advertentietekst en/of zichtbare URL in de vorm van domein of subdomein (rentbird.mijndomein.nl is dus niet toegestaan, mijndomein.nl/rentbird is wél toegestaan)
2.E-MAILMARKETING
Email marketing is alleen toegestaan binnen het affiliate programma van Rentbird mits uitzonderlijke toestemming en onder een aantal voorwaarden:
- De affiliate moet aantoonbaar compliant zijn met de bepalingen van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG), de Telecommunicatiewet (met name artikel 11.7), en overige relevante wet- en regelgeving;
- Alleen emailadressen die via een dubbele opt-in zijn verkregen en die compliant zijn verkregen volgens (onder andere) ACM regulering mogen gebruikt worden;
- De affiliate houdt zich aan de Nederlandse Reclame Code en de toepasselijke DDMA (Dutch Dialogue Marketing Association) codes, waaronder de Code Reclame via Email, ongeacht of de affiliate lid is van de DDMA;
- De affiliate heeft kennisgenomen van de Gedragscode E-mailing Publishers dd. Januari 2015 van de PAN, en handelt conform deze gedragscode;
- De naam Rentbird mag niet gebruikt worden in de afzender bij e-mails;
- Het is affiliates tevens niet toegestaan om in hun promotie via email zich voor te doen als een officiële vertegenwoordiging van Rentbird;
- De affiliate is zelf verantwoordelijk voor eventuele consequenties die worden opgelegd als men zich schuldig heeft gemaakt aan het versturen van spam, of het versturen van e-mails die op welke wijze dan ook niet compliant zijn met bovengenoemde wetgeving, gedragscodes en/of richtlijnen;
- Het is noodzakelijk dat alle te versturen e-mails/nieuwsbrieven vooraf ter goedkeuring aan ons voorgelegd worden zodat vooraf schriftelijke toestemming gegeven kan worden door Rentbird. Dit betreft o.a. alle e-mail uitingen, nieuwsbrieven, zelf ontwikkelde teksten, afbeeldingen, logo`s, trademark materiaal etc;
- Verzending van e-mail batches is alleen toegestaan in overleg (zie ook vorige punt). Zo kan er vooraf overleg plaatsvinden met Rentbird. Hierbij dient aangegeven te worden op welke data men voornemens is mails te verzenden met vermelding van het te verwachten aantal mails per verzendmoment.
3.TYPO/MISSPELLING DOMEINNAMEN
Niet toegestaan:
- Het registreren van domeinnamen die lijken op, verwant zijn aan of een misspelling zijn van het merk van adverteerder; bijvoorbeeld www.renbird.nl etc.).
- Het registreren van domeinnamen die lijken op, verwant zijn aan of een misspelling zijn van Rentbird's producten en diensten, bijvoorbeeld www.rentbirdhuur.nl, www.rentbirdbots.nl, www.rentbird.eu etc.
- Het gebruiken van subdomeinen die lijken op, verwant zijn aan of een misspelling zijn van het merk Rentbird of gerelateerde producten en diensten. Bijvoorbeeld http://rentbird.mijndomein.nl of http://rentbirdhuur.mijndomein.nl.
Wél toegestaan:
- Het gebruiken van directories (mijndomein.nl/directory) die het merk Rentbird of diensten van Rentbird bevatten mits dit de juiste spelling betreft. Bijvoorbeeld http://www.mijndomein.nl/rentbird.
4.SOCIAL MEDIA & PR
Verplicht:
- Aangeven dat Rentbird niet eigenaar is van account en niet verantwoordelijk is voor de informatie op de betreffende pagina of het profiel.
Niet toegestaan: - Het is affiliates niet toegestaan om in hun promotie via social media zich voor te doen als een officiële vertegenwoordiging van Rentbird.
- Affiliates die promotie activiteiten inzetten via social media sources zoals Twitter, Youtube of Facebook, mogen zonder schriftelijke toestemming vooraf geen gebruikersnamen registreren waarin handelsmerken van Rentbird voorkomen.
- Het is niet toegestaan om offline marketing activiteiten of persberichten in te zetten uit naam van Rentbird zonder schriftelijke toestemming vooraf.
- Gebruik van logo’s of trademark materiaal in account/profiel bij social media sites is niet toegestaan
- De website van Rentbird mag niet in een iframe geladen worden binnen social media apps, pages of profielen.
Wél toegestaan:
- Handelen als tussenpersoon (voor eigen rekening, niet als Rentbird) conform de regels die daarvoor gelden als opgesteld door de AFM en reguliere wetgeving. Het aanbieden van de Rentbird propositie mag dus alléén binnen de wettelijke kaders zoals die gelden voor de betreffende affiliate; consequenties voor overtredingen zijn voor rekening van affiliate. De affiliate dient derhalve conform de AFM regels te handelen en mag in geen geval direct linken. In geval van twijfel is het verstandig om contact op te nemen met Rentbird (via karsten@rentbird.nl) of de AFM.
- Inzet van social media voor traffic naar je eigen website.
- Verwijzen naar de officiële accounts van Rentbird om relevantie voor klant te verhogen.
5.COUPONCODE- EN KORTINGSCODE-WEBSITES E.D
Couponcode of kortingscode websites zijn binnen het affiliateprogramma van Rentbird in principe niet toegestaan. Indien je als kortingscode publisher desondanks Rentbird wil promoten, en kan beargumenteren waarom we met je zouden moeten samenwerken, dan verzoeken we je contact met ons op te nemen.
6.NIET TOEGESTANE WEBSITES
De volgende sites zijn met nadruk niet toegestaan binnen het affiliate programma van Rentbird:
- Sites die een pornografisch of gewelddadig karakter hebben;
- Sites die illegale activiteiten omvatten of stimuleren;
- Sites die discriminerend of aanstootgevend zijn;
- Sites die auteursrechten schenden;
- Afbreuk doen aan naam en reputatie van Adverteerder.
7.DIRECT LINKING, POP-UPS, POP-UNDER, CLOAKING
Zie toelichting betreft de onderwerpen direct linking, pop-ups, pop-under en cloaking hieronder:
- Direct linking middels pop-ups, pop-unders etc. is niet toegestaan. Andere vormen van “cookiedropping” zijn evenmin toegestaan;
- Ook is het niet toegestaan applicaties of toolbars te gebruiken in promoties, al dan niet om de last cookie te beïnvloeden;
- Het cloaken van links of faken van de referrer is nadrukkelijk niet toegestaan. Het moet te allen tijde duidelijk zijn wat de bron van het verkeer is.
8.CASHBACK WEBSITES & SPAARPROGRAMMA’S
Cashback websites zijn binnen het affiliateprogramma van Rentbird in principe niet toegestaan. Indien je als kortingscode publisher desondanks Rentbird wil promoten, en kan beargumenteren waarom we met je zouden moeten samenwerken, dan verzoeken we je contact met ons op te nemen.
9.ALGEMENE VERORDENING GEGEVENS (AVG) & Telecommunicatiewet
Op 25 mei 2018 treedt de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) in werking en vervangt daarmee de Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (WBP). Affiliates welke deelnemen aan het affiliateprogramma van Rentbird dienen zich te houden aan het in de AVG gestelde. Daarnaast dienen affiliates die deelnemen aan het affiliateprogramma van Rentbird zich te houden aan het in de Telecommunicatiewet gestelde, waaronder artikel 11.7a van deze wet inzake de toestemming van de gebruiker voor het plaatsen en/of uitlezen van gegevens op de randapparatuur van deze gebruiker. Affiliates dienen alle data welke zij hebben verkregen tijdens het promoten van de producten en/of diensten van Rentbird (waaronder persoonsgegevens maar ook surfgegevens en marketinggegevens) uitsluitend te gebruiken ten behoeve van de campagnes voor Rentbird. Na afloop van de campagnes en het affiliateprogramma dienen de deelnemende affiliates deze gegevens te vernietigen.
10.OVERIGE BEPALINGEN
Het recht blijft bestaan om affiliates zonder opgaaf van reden uit te sluiten en/of sales af te keuren indien:
- er onduidelijkheid is over de bron van het verkeer;
- sales worden gerealiseerd waarvan geen affiliate ID en/of transactie ID bekend is;
- de genoemde voorwaarden niet worden nageleefd.
Affiliates zijn zelf volledig verantwoordelijk voor het up-to-date houden van het promotiemateriaal op hun media. Eventueel beëindigde acties moeten door de affiliate worden verwijderd of worden vervangen door nieuw beschikbaar materiaal.

Rentbird Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions (English)
1. KEYWORD BUYING
Allowed only when:
- Linking to a website or landing page (no automatic interstitials or redirects).
- Necessary negative keywords are used to exclude the following:
- Bidding on advertiser's brand names or misspellings (e.g., Rentbird, Rentbird.nl, Renbird, etc.).
- Using advertiser's brand names in ad text and/or visible URL (e.g., rentbird.mydomain.nl is not allowed, mydomain.nl/rentbird is allowed).
1. KEYWORD BUYING
The purchasing of keywords in networks and search engines is only allowed under the following conditions:
- When the advertisement is linked to a proprietary website/intermediate page (no automatic interstitials, redirects).
- If the necessary negative keywords are listed to exclude the situations below.
Not allowed:
- Bidding on advertiser's brand names or related/misspellings thereof (e.g., Rentbird, Rentbird.nl, Renbird, etc.).
- When keyword buying is employed, the correct negative keywords must be listed. It is not permitted for affiliate advertisements to be displayed on search terms containing trademarks of the advertiser.
- This includes the exact brand (e.g., Rentbird), misspelled forms of the brand (e.g., Renbird, Rent bird, Rentabird), and brand names combined with other words (e.g., Rentbird rental properties, Rentbird discount codes, etc.).
- Use of advertiser's brand names or combinations thereof, related/misspelled in advertisement text and/or visible URL in the form of domain or subdomain (e.g., rentbird.mydomain.nl is not allowed, mydomain.nl/rentbird is allowed).
2. EMAIL MARKETING
Allowed only with exceptional permission and under certain conditions:
- Affiliate must comply with GDPR, Telecommunications Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Only emails obtained via double opt-in and compliant with ACM regulations may be used.
- Affiliate must comply with the Dutch Advertising Code and applicable DDMA codes.
- Affiliate must be familiar with the PAN Code of Conduct for Email Publishers and act in accordance with it.
- The name Rentbird may not be used in the sender field of emails.
- Affiliates may not represent themselves as an official representative of Rentbird in their email promotions.
- The affiliate is responsible for any consequences of sending spam or non-compliant emails.
- All emails/newsletters must be submitted to Rentbird for approval in advance.
- Sending of email batches is only allowed in consultation with Rentbird.
3. TYPO/MISSPELLING DOMAIN NAMES
Not allowed:
- Registering domain names that resemble, are related to, or are misspellings of the advertiser's brand (e.g., www.renbird.nl).
- Registering domain names that resemble, are related to, or are misspellings of Rentbird's products and services (e.g., www.rentbirdhuur.nl, www.rentbirdbots.nl, www.rentbird.eu).
- Using subdomains that resemble, are related to, or are misspellings of the Rentbird brand or related products and services (e.g., http://rentbird.mijndomein.nl or http://rentbirdhuur.mijndomein.nl).
Allowed:
- Using directories (mydomain.nl/directory) that contain the Rentbird brand or Rentbird services, provided that the spelling is correct (e.g., http://www.mijndomein.nl/rentbird)
4. SOCIAL MEDIA & PR
Required:
- Indicate that Rentbird does not own the account and is not responsible for the information on the page or profile.
Not allowed:
- Affiliates may not represent themselves as an official representative of Rentbird in their social media promotions.
- Affiliates may not register usernames containing Rentbird trademarks without prior written consent.
- Offline marketing activities or press releases may not be issued on behalf of Rentbird without prior written consent.
- Use of logos or trademark material in social media accounts/profiles is not allowed.
- The Rentbird website may not be loaded in an iframe within social media apps, pages, or profiles.
Allowed:
- Acting as an intermediary (on your own behalf, not as Rentbird) in accordance with the rules set by the AFM and regular legislation. The Rentbird proposition may only be offered within the legal framework applicable to the affiliate; consequences for violations are at the expense of the affiliate. The affiliate must therefore act in accordance with the AFM rules and may in no case link directly. In case of doubt, it is wise to contact Rentbird (via karsten@rentbird.nl) or the AFM.
- Use of social media to drive traffic to your own website.
- Linking to official Rentbird accounts to increase relevance for customers.
5. COUPON CODE AND DISCOUNT CODE WEBSITES
Coupon code or discount code websites are generally not allowed in the Rentbird affiliate program. If you want to promote Rentbird as a discount code publisher, please contact karsten@rentbird.nl.
6. PROHIBITED WEBSITES
The following sites are strictly prohibited in the Rentbird affiliate program:
- Sites that are pornographic or violent in nature.
- Sites that involve or promote illegal activities.
- Sites that are discriminatory or offensive.
- Sites that violate copyrights.
- Sites that damage the name and reputation of the Advertiser.
7. DIRECTE LINKS, POP-UPS, POP-UNDERS, CLOAKING
- Direct linking via pop-ups, pop-unders, etc. is not allowed. This also applies to other forms of "cookiedropping".
- The use of applications or toolbars in promotions is not allowed, regardless of whether this affects the "last cookie".
- Cloaking links or faking the referrer is strictly prohibited. The source of the traffic must be clear at all times.
8. CASHBACK WEBSITES & SAVINGS PROGRAMS
Cashback websites are generally not allowed in the Rentbird affiliate program. If you still want to promote Rentbird as a discount code publisher, and you can argue why we should work with you, please contact us.
9. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR) & Telecommunications Act
The GDPR came into effect on May 25, 2018. This law replaces the Personal Data Protection Act (WBP). Affiliates participating in the Rentbird affiliate program must comply with the GDPR. Affiliates participating in the Rentbird affiliate program must also comply with the Telecommunications Act. Article 11.7a of this law concerns the user's consent for placing and/or reading data on their device. Affiliates must use all data they have obtained while promoting Rentbird's products and/or services (including personal data, but also browsing data and marketing data) exclusively for the campaigns for Rentbird. After the campaigns and the affiliate program have ended, the participating affiliates must delete this data.
10. OTHER PROVISIONS
The right remains to exclude affiliates without giving any reason and/or to reject sales.
This can happen if:
- The source of the traffic is unclear.
- Sales are realized for which no affiliate ID and/or transaction ID is known.
- The aforementioned conditions are not met.
Affiliates are themselves fully responsible for keeping the promotional material on their media up-to-date. Any terminated actions must be removed by the affiliate or be replaced by new available material.
