Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in The Body Coach App affiliate program ("Affiliate Program") provided through the Awin affiliate marketing platform ("Awin"). By participating in the Affiliate Program, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before joining the Affiliate Program.

  • Definitions:
    • "Affiliate," "you," or "your" refers to the individual or entity participating in the Affiliate Program.
    • “Joe Wicks”, "The Body Coach App," "we," "us," or "our" refers to The Body Coach and its affiliates.
    • "Awin" refers to the affiliate marketing platform through which the Affiliate Program is provided.

Programme Restrictions:

  • Unless explicitly authorised otherwise by The Body Coach, the following programme restrictions apply:
    • Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own, or bid on any domain names containing the words "The Body Coach" and "Joe Wicks," or any misspellings thereof, in the URL. For instance, www.thebodycoach.com.
    • Affiliates must refrain from incorporating "Body Coach" or "Joe Wicks" Brand Terms, or any misspelt variations thereof, in the sub-domain of their website’s URL. For example, http://joewicks.affiliate.com or http://thebodycoach.affiliate.com.
    • Affiliates may utilise correctly spelled “The Body Coach app” or “Joe Wicks” Brand Terms following the domain of their website’s URL. For example, http://www.affiliate.com/joewicks
    • Affiliates are prohibited from registering the brand "The Body Coach App" or "Joe Wicks" or any variations thereof on any social media platform. This prohibition extends to combinations of the brand with generic words or sentences, as well as generic words or sentences followed by the brand.
    • Any attempt to register such social media accounts will constitute a direct breach of the Awin terms and conditions, particularly Section 7: Intellectual Property Rights of the Awin code of conduct.
    • Affiliates must refrain from posting on any official "Body Coach" or "Joe Wicks" social media platform with the intention of driving visitors to their webpage. Advertiser social media platforms include YouTube, Meta, X, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok or any other social media.
    • Direct linking to "Body Coach" or "Joe Wicks" websites from paid social media is prohibited.
    • The Affiliate Partner Model is exclusively available to affiliates under this Term Sheet. While affiliates are required to promote the AWIN referral code in accordance with this Term Sheet, they are prohibited from distributing it on commercial platforms such as Reddit or Wikipedia, or on blogs primarily intended for soliciting Referral Credits or discount codes.
    • We reserve the right to terminate any partnerships or affiliate agreements at any time. See terms here: Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions.
    • Failure to comply with these rules by affiliates, subnetworks, and/or affiliates of subnetworks may result in their commissions being set to zero and potential suspension.

Commission and Approval Criteria:

  • We will provide affiliates with an exclusive referral link to distribute among their users.
  • Affiliates will receive a one-time payment of £8.50 for a yearly subscription referral or £3.50 for a monthly subscription referral.  
  • A referral is deemed successful when the referred user maintains an active subscription for a full one-month period without cancellation after any Free trial period. The Affiliate Partner Model is applicable solely to users who have never previously used the Service.
  • The Body Coach reserves the right to review and investigate all referral activities. We retain the authority to suspend accounts or adjust referrals and Successful Referral computations at our discretion, in a manner deemed equitable and appropriate.

Creative / Banners:

  • Affiliates are prohibited from modifying any of the creative assets or text links provided through the Awin interface.
  • To ensure that content remains current, affiliates are not permitted to hardcode the creative assets directly into their websites.
  • Affiliates are strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of impersonation of 'Joe Wicks' or 'The Body Coach' while utilising the creative materials provided through the Awin interface.

By joining The Body Coach affiliate program through Awin, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not participate in the Affiliate Program.

PPC

In alignment with our affiliate program's objectives and strategies, we do not permit Pay-Per-Click (PPC) activity as part of our advertising channels. Therefore, no commission will be paid for referrals made via this advertising method.

We kindly request that publishers refrain from engaging in PPC campaigns to promote our brand or products. Any PPC activity conducted on behalf of our affiliate program is strictly prohibited.
 

Additional Information:

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy. Should any publisher engage in PPC activity despite this restriction, it will result in immediate removal from our affiliate program. We reserve the right to take further action as necessary to enforce compliance with our policies and protect the integrity of our program.
