Native Places

Terms and Conditions

By applying to join the Native Places affiliate programme, or accepting an invitation to join the Native Places affiliate programme, you are agreeing that you have read and will adhere to the below terms and conditions. Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in exclusion from the Native Places affiliate programme and reversal of commissions, at our discretion.

1 Brand

1.1 Partners agree to present Native Places in the same manner that Native Places presents itself. Partners will take reasonable care to use up-to-date imagery, copy and offers in their marketing.

2 Creative

2.1 We have provided creative assets, which will be updated to reflect seasonality, product launches and offers. Affiliates may not alter any creatives from those provided and are requested to update the creatives used on their sites as newer versions are made available. This helps to keep the content fresh and relevant.

3 PPC

3.1 Affiliates are not permitted to promote Native Places affiliate links through PPC without prior written consent.

3.2 Affiliates are not permitted to register, appear or bid on our brand terms, long tail terms, combined brand and generic terms or misspellings on any search engine (including Google, Bing and Yahoo) or any other similar services. This applies to, but is not limited to, search, display and shopping sections of search engines.

3.3 Affiliates are required to include brand and misspelling terms as negative keywords in all of their search engine marketing campaigns.

4 Comparison Shopping Services

4.1 No partner should run a CSS campaign using our brand terms without written consent.

5 Social Media

5.1 No partner should run a social media campaign using our brand terms without written consent. The Native Places brand name must not be used in any way to register accounts on social media, or via any other channel. You may feature Native Places on your own social media platforms, but never speak ‘as’ or ‘for’ the brand, only speak ‘about’ or ‘promote’ the brand or our products, being mindful to adhere to section 1 of these terms.

6 Domain Restrictions

6.1 Direct linking - affiliates are not permitted to use any domains owned by Native Places as their display URL without express written permission.

6.2 Affiliate-owned domains - affiliates are permitted to use our brand terms as a directory, e.g. affiliate.com/nativeplaces. Affiliates are not permitted to create domains containing brand terms as a domain or sub-domain, e.g. affiliate-nativeplaces.com.

6.3 Landing pages - affiliates are not permitted to construct a landing page for Native Places without pre-approval. Please contact us beforehand.

7 Voucher Codes, Sales and Offers

7.1 Partners should only promote voucher codes, sales and offers communicated to them by Native Places. Native Places will withhold payment of commissions, or suspend publishers for repeat offences, if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.

7.2 If Native Places makes a discount code available for affiliate use, the code will have expiry date. Affiliates must ensure that the expiry date is clearly communicated, and codes must be removed or marked as expired after this date. Any affiliate who does not remove expired codes, or clearly mark them as expired, may be suspended from the programme.

8 Cashback

8.1 Partners agree to a tiered approach where Native Places may offer varied commission depending on variables including (but not limited to) stay duration, location, room type or transaction value, encouraging consumers to achieve higher rates.

9 Lead Generation

9.1 Where Lead Generation is applicable, partners agree that leads will be qualified and declined a payment where they are: spam, not contactable after five tries, duplicates, tests or fraudulent.

10 Refusal

10.1 Where Native Places judges a breach of the terms to be severe enough, partner commissions can be refused (declined) for transactions relevant to the breach.

11 Validation and Payment of Commissions

11.1 Commissions are payable on genuine non-refunded transactions. Native Places will validate transactions and leads to gauge if they are legitimate. All breaches of terms can result in the rejection of relevant commissions.

12 Contact

12.1 All partners must be contactable within a reasonable amount of time and provide an email address to contact them. All partners agree to consult with Native Places periodically to strengthen the relationship and performance.
