Spindle Affiliate Branding Guidelines
Spindle is a natural latex mattress company focused on transparency, simplicity, and quality materials. Our brand emphasizes honest product information, thoughtful buying guidance, and a straightforward approach to mattress education. Affiliates promoting Spindle should reflect these values in their content and presentation.
Publishers are encouraged to create original editorial content that helps consumers understand mattresses, sleep products, and buying considerations. This includes in-depth mattress reviews, comparison guides, educational sleep content, and authentic product experiences shared through written articles, videos, or social media.
Affiliates should represent Spindle accurately and avoid exaggerated marketing claims. Content should be informative, balanced, and helpful to consumers researching mattress purchases.
Affiliates may reference Spindle products within editorial content such as:
• Mattress reviews
• Comparison guides
• Sleep education articles
• Product demonstrations
• Personal product experiences
• Video content
Any statements about Spindle products should be factually accurate and consistent with information published on the Spindle website or official materials.
Affiliates may not make unsupported claims about Spindle mattresses, including medical or health-related claims such as curing sleep disorders, treating medical conditions, or guaranteeing specific health outcomes.
Affiliate relationships must be clearly disclosed in accordance with FTC guidelines or other applicable advertising regulations. Readers or viewers should be able to easily understand that affiliate links may result in commissions.
Affiliates may use the Spindle brand name when referring to the company or its products within editorial content. However, affiliates may not imply that they are the official Spindle website, a representative of Spindle, or an official Spindle retailer.
The following uses of the Spindle brand are prohibited:
• Registering domain names that include the Spindle brand name
• Creating websites that appear to be official Spindle websites
• Misrepresenting affiliation with Spindle
• Altering or modifying official Spindle logos or brand assets
Affiliates should not create promotional content that is misleading, deceptive, or designed solely to manipulate search rankings without providing meaningful editorial value.
Spindle prioritizes partnerships with publishers and creators who produce thoughtful, original content related to mattresses, sleep, and bedroom products. Content consisting primarily of scraped, automatically generated, or low-value material is not aligned with the goals of the program.
Spindle reserves the right to request edits or removal of content that misrepresents the brand or violates these guidelines. Affiliates who repeatedly violate these standards may be removed from the program.
Intellectual Property Guidelines
Spindle maintains strict control over the use of its brand name, trademarks, images, logos, product photography, and written content. Participation in the Spindle Affiliate Program does not grant affiliates unrestricted rights to use Spindle intellectual property.
Affiliates may refer to the Spindle brand and its products within editorial content such as reviews, comparisons, or educational material. However, the use of Spindle brand assets is tightly controlled.
Affiliates are not permitted to use Spindle logos, product images, photography, videos, graphics, marketing materials, or written content unless those materials are explicitly provided through the Awin platform or directly approved in writing by Spindle.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Product photography
• Lifestyle photography
• Product diagrams
• Videos
• Logos
• Brand marks
• Website copy
• Product descriptions
• Marketing graphics
Affiliates may not download, scrape, copy, or reproduce images, videos, or content from the Spindle website or other Spindle marketing materials without written permission.
Affiliates are also prohibited from:
• Modifying or altering Spindle logos or images
• Creating derivative graphics using Spindle branding
• Editing Spindle images to remove watermarks or branding
• Using Spindle images in advertising without permission
• Repurposing Spindle content to create AI-generated or automatically generated pages
Any use of Spindle intellectual property must be authorized in advance and used exactly as provided.
Affiliates who wish to include images of Spindle products in reviews or editorial content should either:
Use assets provided through the affiliate program, or
Create their own original photography or video of the product.
Affiliates may not present themselves as Spindle, as an official Spindle representative, or as an authorized retailer of Spindle products.
The following practices are strictly prohibited:
• Creating websites that appear to be official Spindle websites
• Registering domain names containing the Spindle brand name
• Using Spindle branding in a way that could confuse consumers about the source of a website or advertisement
• Copying product descriptions or other written material from the Spindle website
Spindle actively monitors unauthorized use of its intellectual property. Unauthorized use of Spindle images, logos, or content may result in:
• Immediate removal from the affiliate program
• Reversal of all pending commissions
• Formal requests for content removal
• Additional enforcement actions where necessary
Spindle reserves the right to require affiliates to remove or modify any content that violates these guidelines.
Affiliates participating in the Spindle Affiliate Program are expected to respect Spindle’s intellectual property and present the brand accurately and responsibly. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in termination from the program.
