We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of crucial updates to the Echoine Affiliate Program Agreement. These changes will take effect on August 9, 2023. We kindly ask you to carefully review this message to ensure your complete understanding of the new rules and how they affect your promotional activities.
In an effort to maintain the integrity of our brand and ensure fair competition among our affiliates, we have decided to implement the following updates:
Paid Advertising Restrictions: Affiliates are now prohibited from bidding on Echoine brand terms on all paid advertising channels, including but not limited to Google Ads and Facebook Ads. This includes "Echoine", "www.echoine.com", "Echoine sale", "Echoine discount", and any other terms that directly reference our brand. This restriction extends to misspellings, abbreviations, and variations of the Echoine brand name.
Non-Competition Clause: Affiliates may not create websites, social media profiles, or other online platforms that could be mistaken for official Echoine sites or profiles. This includes registering domain names or social media handles that closely resemble the Echoine brand name.
Accurate Representation: Affiliates should always represent Echoine's products and services accurately in all promotional materials. Misleading claims or false information is not allowed and could result in immediate termination of the affiliate partnership.
Use of Copyrighted Material: Affiliates must not use Echoine's copyrighted material (including but not limited to images, logos, text, and other media) without explicit permission from Echoine. We will provide approved marketing assets for promotional purposes.
Restricted Content: Affiliates are not allowed to promote Echoine on websites or platforms that contain or promote adult content, violence, hate speech, illegal activities, or any other content that could harm Echoine's brand reputation.
Coupon and Deal Sites: Affiliates may post Echoine discounts, deals, or coupons on third-party coupon or deal sites, but the commission rate for these sites will be set at 1% or less.
Email Marketing Compliance: Affiliates who wish to promote Echoine through email marketing must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the CAN-SPAM Act. This includes obtaining recipients' consent to receive emails, including a valid physical postal address in each email, and offering an opt-out method.
Failure to adhere to these rules could result in actions such as commission reductions, suspension, or termination of the affiliate partnership.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we enforce these new rules. As always, we're here to support you, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need clarification on any of these new rules.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing partnership.
