Daneson takes the mundane and distinguishes it.
With exemplary design, we elevate the toothpick
to something more ceremonious. What once was
a basic human ritual gets transformed into a
moment of self-care, focus, reflection, or even
bravado. Our purpose is to take a simple tool and
make it a fashion statement, an act of defiance.
We care deeply about the quality of our products,
and hold a belief that ‘how you do’ is perhaps
more important than ‘what you do.’ That’s why
we work almost exclusively with North
American, family-owned businesses to deliver a
product rooted in quality and environmental
sustainability. That’s why we plant 100 trees for
every one we mill. It’s why attention to detail is at
the core of every decision we make.

These are the principles that guide the voice,
imagery, strategy, and the ‘everything’ that’s
behind Daneson. We approach copywriting with
the same doctrine we use in product development
– simplicity, transparency, and precision. Why use
ten words when two will do? It’s the same thing
with photography and advertising – simplicity,
transparency, and precision. Subtract to
perfection - less is more.
If we’re doing things right, when people see, hear,
and feel Daneson, they’ll know they’re respected
and spoken for.
