CROWN & PAW AFFILIATE PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By applying to and joining the crownandpaw.com affiliate program or accessing an affiliate link from a third party or other partner within the Crown & Paw affiliate program, you agree to the following rules, regulations, and terms and conditions.
Use of Trademarks
We do not allow the use of our trademarks, URLs, misspellings, extensions, or any variation with the intent of optimizing for them.
The following guidelines must be observed:
PPC and Media Buys
You may NOT bid on or use any of our trademarks, brand names, extensions, or variations as keywords in any PPC network, content network, or media buy. Please also include the following in your negative keywords list: “Drugs”, “Illegal”, “Medical”, “Counterfeit”, “Unauthorized”, “Animal Cruelty”.
Do not use language that makes medical or exaggerated claims about our products. Approved phrasing includes suggestions such as “May help showcase your pet's personality” or “Makes a great personalized gift.”
If we find your ads displaying our brand, we may request screenshots. You agree to provide them within 2 business days. During this time, commissions may be paused and reversed. If sales are proven to be unrelated to trademark violations, commissions may be restored at the discretion of the Affiliate Manager.
Social Media
You may not use the Crown & Paw name or variations thereof in hashtags, usernames, or any way that implies you are representing or endorsed by Crown & Paw. Do not create social media accounts using our name or brand assets, and do not tag, link, or associate our official profiles in your content without prior written approval from the Affiliate Manager.
Coupon & Loyalty Sites
If you operate a coupon, deal, or loyalty site, please read this section carefully. Without written approval from the Affiliate Manager, violating the following may result in removal from the program and reversal of all commissions:
We do not allow:
Posting expired promo codes — all discounts must be current, active, and approved.
Sharing codes not provided within the affiliate network.
Advertising non-existent discounts or misleading promotions.
Posting codes to websites or properties you do not own. You may share links and codes on your own social channels if compliant with our brand and disclosure guidelines.
Using exclusive codes intended for other affiliates or influencers — sales made with such codes will be reversed.
Toolbars, Downloadable Software & Adware
We do not allow the use of Adware, including anything that interrupts or modifies the user shopping experience, without explicit permission. This includes but is not limited to:
PPV, couponware, reminderware, loyaltyware, contextual ads, pop-ups, browser extensions, or CPV advertising.
Disclaimers
If you are promoting Crown & Paw in regions with specific marketing or advertising regulations, particularly concerning pets or animals, you must comply with all applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your content and disclaimers are appropriate for audiences in the United States, European Union, and any other region your content reaches.
Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the program and reversal of commissions.
Agreement & Revisions
This agreement overrides any prior versions. It is your responsibility to periodically review our Terms of Service, as they may change without notice.
