The term ‘Affiliate(s)’ refers to Affiliates and Publishers (online and offline) who are able to help drive sales traffic to YouGarden.com on a CPA commission basis.
The specific Terms & Conditions of the YouGarden Affiliate Programme are shown below. Please note that failure to comply with these rules could result in our relationship being terminated and any commissions earned being reversed.
YouGarden will aim to give as much notice as possible should any changes to our Terms & Conditions affect Affiliates and the Affiliate Programme.
We will not accept applications from Affiliates who intend to promote in channels where content is:
- Offensive or politically radical
- Erotic or Pornographic
- Illegal (Torrents, Streaming of copyrighted material etc)
- Portraying individuals in a discriminatory fashion
All creative (including, but not restricted to Logo's, Banners, Artwork, Images and Copy) remains the property of YouGarden and may not be used for any purpose, other than to generate interest and sales for YouGarden.
Affiliates may not alter any creative made available through the Affiliate Window interface, without express prior approval and sign-off by YouGarden.
So that any seasonal banner updates we make can take immediate effect, Affiliates are politely requested not to hardcode banners into their websites. If your banners are hardcoded, you will need to regularly check for updates. We will, of course, advise our Affiliate network of any new creative we provide.
YouGarden welcomes Affiliates that use content to positively promote our website and products through their Websites, Publications, Emails, Blogs, Press Releases and Social Media pages. Creative is provided and we will regularly update our Affiliate network with updates and press releases as they come available. Deeplink URLs are provided for tracking purposes.
DISCOUNT/VOUCHER CODE AFFILIATES
All discount/voucher code websites must comply with the official IAB guidelines which can be found here: http://www.iabuk.net/resources/standards-and-guidelines/affiliate-marketing-council-code-of-conduct-vouchers
Publishers must not display made up or invented discount codes on their site(s).
Discount code publishers with websites that encourage users to ‘click here to reveal offer/code’ thus setting a cookie, can only use this function if a discount/voucher code exists for the YouGarden programme. If there is no code available for the YouGarden programme, publishers must not use this method, as it leads to a poor user experience for potential YouGarden customers and can cause customer service issues.
PAID SEARCH (PPC) AFFILIATES
These Terms & Conditions are applicable on any ad platform, including, but not limited to search engines, content networks and social networking ad placements.
Affiliates must abide by the following rules:
- Using the YouGarden brand in the ad text – ALLOWED
- Using YouGarden brand terms in the ad title – Not Allowed
- Using the YouGarden brand or a misspelling of the YouGarden brand in the display URL (eg www.YouGarden.com) or (www.uGarden.com) – Not Allowed
- Bidding on our URL www.YouGarden.com or any derivations of the URL – Not Allowed
- Bidding on any misspelling or variation of the brand name YouGarden, including (but not restricted to) those shown in the ‘branding’ tab – Not Allowed
- Bidding on YouGarden brand + generic terms (eg “YouGarden plants”, "YouGarden Voucher") - Not Allowed
In order to avoid any broadmatching issues, Affiliates must add all of our brand terms (including misspellings and derivatives) as negative keywords in all paid search activity.
Affiliates found infringing any of these terms will be warned and may have commissions reversed. We reserve the right to withhold commission during this time. Reactivation of your account will be decided on a case by case basis and you may be suspended from the programme.
