By signing up to our affiliate programme, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Please keep in mind that these Terms and Conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Shnuggle. Updates to these Terms and Conditions will be available via this application and are available upon request. We will do our best to inform you of any changes made. 

PPC Activity

  • Affiliates are required to not bid on our brand terms, or misspellings, on all search engines or such services. These terms include, but are not limited to:
    • “Shnuggle”
    • “schnuggle”
    • “snuggle”

 

  • Affiliates are not authorised to use “shnuggle” in their ad headers. This also includes Shopping search / Image search and all other bidding services through search engines
  • Affiliates are not permitted to register URLs/domains containing ‘shnuggle’ or any misspells.
  • Affiliates are permitted to use “shnuggle” in URLs for articles and pages about Shnuggle.
  • Affiliates are to be responsible in their promotion of the Shnuggle brand, and avoid any use which may be interpreted as ‘spamming’.
  • Affiliates are not permitted to submit a feed of shnuggle products to Google Product Search, as this contravenes Google's own Product Search policies and terms of service.

 

Negative keywords

  • In order to avoid any broad matching issues, affiliates must add Shnuggle and shnuggle.com/co.uk as negative keywords 
  • Shnuggle also require that you do not use any display URL that may suggest a connection with Shnuggle 

 

Cashback

  • Cashback will be declined when voucher codes are used in conjunction with another voucher or discount code used.

 

Discount/Voucher codes

  • Only voucher codes supplied by Shnuggle through Affiliate Window should be promoted by affiliates on their websites, blogs, or through any other form of communication.
  • Affiliates found to be promoting unauthorised discount codes or those issued through other marketing channels will have their sales declined.
  • With all vouchers please include relevant T&Cs and an end date must be provided.
  • Sites must not use click to reveal functionality where there is not a valid discount code.
  • Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with cashback, unless explicitly stated otherwise. We also reserve the right to decline commission if more than one promotional type is used in conjunction, such as voucher codes and cashback, or voucher codes and loyalty points.

 

Intellectual Property Rights

  • Affiliates must respect the intellectual property rights of Shnuggle.
  • Such rights include trademarks and service marks, copyright and related rights, trade names and domain names, rights to goodwill or to use in passing off and rights in confidential information.
  • If an affiliate infringes these rights, we may remove them from the programme and may retain any commission that would otherwise be due to the affiliate.
  • Shnuggle request draft proofs of any copy that is to appear in any offline communication including and not limited to press campaigns.

 

Domain Name Restrictions

  • Affiliates are asked not to register domain names which are similar or confusingly similar to the Shnuggle brand including any miss-spellings of Shnuggle 
  • Affiliates may not use any domain name owned by Shnuggle for PPC linking without express permission.
  • Affiliates may not put the Shnuggle website into frames or use masked URLs.

 

Creative

  • Affiliates may not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Awin interface.
  • In order to prevent out of date content, affiliates may not hardcode the creative into their sites.
  • Affiliates may not impersonate Shnuggle using Shnuggle creatives.

 

Social Media

  • Affiliates should not register social media, YouTube or any sharing application accounts containing the Shnuggle brand name, logo, or any similar references.
  • When linking to the Shnuggle site via social media, it must be clear that the poster is an affiliate, or the link must land first on the affiliate’s own site and the user must click again to visit Shnuggle. Re-directs where the user does not see the affiliate site are unacceptable.

 

Site Exclusions

  • As Shnuggle is a family-friendly brand, affiliates will not be accepted if their site contains adult, or mature content. 

 

Commission

Blog / Editorial Rates

  • All blogger/editorial websites will receive 5% commission on all orders that have passed the attribution period.
  • This is based on gross revenue, excluding delivery costs.
  • There is the potential for an increased commission rate for key partners, this will be decided as we go forward, based on individual performance.
  • Rates will not be paid for those that don’t follow these Terms and Conditions, i.e. bidding on Brand terms etc.

 

Voucher / Discount Site Rates

  • All voucher / discount based affiliates will receive a flat rate of 5%.
  • This is based on gross revenue, excluding delivery costs.
  • Rates will not be paid for those that do not follow these Terms and Conditions regarding voucher / discount sites, i.e., pushing traffic when not authorised by the affiliate team.
  • Voucher / Discount site affiliates will be taken on a case by case basis.

 

  • Cookie Period
  • Shnuggle has a 30 day cookie period.

Any content, whether paid for or not, must be labelled with #Ad. Publishers failing to comply risk having commission rejected and being removed from the Shnuggle affiliate programme.
