Program Terms

Brand Overview

Melinda’s is a premium sauce brand known for bold flavors, clean ingredients, and chef-driven recipes. Any promotional use of our brand must reflect our quality, authenticity, and flavor-forward positioning.

 

Approved Use of Brand Assets

Publishers may use the following assets for promotional purposes:

  • Melinda’s name and logo
  • Approved product photography from Melindas.com
  • Creative assets provided in the Melinda’s media kit
  • Custom graphics that accurately represent Melinda’s products and packaging
  • All assets must remain true to our brand identity:
  • No distortion, stretching, recoloring, or alterations
  • No removal or modification of product labels, ingredient statements, or trademarks
  • No edits that create misleading impressions about product features or benefits

 

Content & Messaging Requirements

All content promoting Melinda’s must:

  • Accurately describe our products and flavors
  • Avoid unverified claims (health claims, medical claims, exaggerated performance claims)
  • Avoid references to unauthorized promos, unapproved discounts, or speculative coupon codes
  • Use correct product names, spellings, and branding
  • Comply with FTC disclosure guidelines (#ad, #affiliate, etc.)
  • Email marketing must comply with all legal standards including CAN-SPAM.
  • Social media posts must include clear and conspicuous affiliate disclosures.

 

Prohibited Uses

Publishers may NOT:

  • Use Melinda’s branding in PPC search ads without written approval
  • Bid on Melinda’s trademarks, brand terms, or misspellings
  • Use Melinda’s name in domain names, URLs, social media handles, or page titles
  • Imply official endorsement or partnership without explicit authorization
  • Alter labels, replace logos, or place our products in misleading or inappropriate contexts
  • No publisher may create or advertise unauthorized discount codes.

 

Custom Creative

Custom graphics or promotional materials are allowed only if:

  • They maintain the integrity of the Melinda’s brand
  • Product packaging is not altered
  • They do not introduce fictitious promotions, claims, or designs
  • They are visually consistent with Melinda’s positioning as a premium, culinary-driven brand
  • Melinda’s reserves the right to request edits or removal of any creative that does not meet these standards.

 

Brand Representation Expectations

Publishers are expected to represent Melinda’s professionally and accurately. This includes:

  • A positive and truthful portrayal of our products
  • No offensive, adult, political, or otherwise brand-unsafe contexts
  • No misleading urgency tactics (“last chance,” “going out of stock,” etc.) unless approved

 

Enforcement

Melinda’s may withhold commissions or remove partners from the program for:

  • Misuse of trademarks
  • Unauthorized discount promotions
  • Inaccurate or misleading claims
  • Breach of PPC restrictions
