These conditions apply to all publishers who take part in the Kit & Kin Affiliate programme and make use of the creatives through the Affiliate Window network (the “partners”).
1. Content and Activity on the Partners Website
It is prohibited to...
• Use the trademarked name "Kit & Kin" and its typos and misspellings as a keyword in SEM campaigns
• Show illegal, violent, erotic content, or the content involving the violation of third parties on the partner websites
• Use post-view and / or the use of iframes, layers, pop-ups, pop-unders, and paid mailing "so-called click coercion"
• Promote voucher codes not specifically authorised for the individual partner
• Use not up-to-date or wrong information
In the event of a breach, all sales will be cancelled immediately and the partnership terminated immediately. We reserve the right to legal action.
2. Commissions
From your page on our website and within the next 30 days leading to a sale, unless the cookie is not overwritten by another one of our other partners click cookies. As a publisher you will receive your commission only for first time customers and if the sale comes through the network and publisher of the "last cookie wins" logic. Furthermore, we will cancel any orders that were cancelled by the customer.
Our commission structure is based on customer type. The first sale is the first order a new customer places on our websites, receives and not returns. A new customer is a customer who hasn't placed an order before under the same name and under the same address. A subscription customer is a customer who has started a subscription for either our nappies or wipes subscription.
Commissions can be adapted for well performing partners as well as bespoke offers.
Kit & Kin commission is validated in-line with the returns policy which is 30 days with a look back window of 35 days.
3. Contract Changes
We reserve the right to change the regulation and provision of this Agreement at any time. You will be notified of any such changes per email. If you do not agree with any changes to the terms and conditions you still have the chance to terminate the partnership. Your continued partnership to the program, after the date of the changes, means you accept the new terms. We will inform you of the legal changes per email.
4. Severability
Should any part of these terms be wholly or partially invalid, the remaining terms shall not be affected.
5. Voucher Code Usage
Only orders using affiliate voucher codes that are live in the Awin platform will be paid out at full commission.
6. PPC Policy
Please note Kit & Kin do not support brand name bidding nor bidding on brand name terms or misspellings. This includes all specific product and brand names. Please do not use the word ‘official’ in your advertisements.
We request the brand keywords stated below to be excluded from all CSS activity. Restrictions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Kit and Kin
- kitandkin
- kit kin
- kit n kin
- www.kitandkin.com
We are happy for affiliates to bid on generic terms, however direct linking is prohibited. Any affiliates who do not abide by these rules do risk having their commissions set to zero and possible suspension.
PPC affiliates should add the Kit & Kin brand name and its permutations into their negative keyword list to avoid their ads showing when a brand + generic term is searched for (such as nappies, wipes, vouchers, codes, voucher codes, discount codes etc). Commissions will be declined if an affiliate does not comply with PPC terms. Further information is detailed in our PPC terms.
7. The In House Referrer Scheme
Existing customers who have already purchased from Kit & Kin will be sent an email explaining the referral scheme and how they can earn credit from driving new customers to the site.
For example:
- Existing customer logs into their account on Kit & Kin and goes to referral section via Family profile.
- Existing customer creates link to Kit & Kin to share on social media.
- New customer clicks on that link and makes first purchase on Kit & Kin either by entering referral code at checkout or after an automatic discount has been applied after clicking on a referral link.
- Existing customer receives credit to spend on Kit & Kin as a reward.
8. Cookieless Vouchercode Tracking
Kit & Kin uses cookie-less voucher tracking for some of our influencer partners. This means that the transaction is always attributed to the publisher who is given the exclusive voucher. When the voucher is used, transactions will be tracked regardless of whether a click has happened or not. Please speak to your account contact for more information.
9. De-duplication Policy
All affiliate sales are de-duplicated against other online advertising channels using a local cookie on the merchant platform. De-duplication channels include :
- PPC Brand
- PPC Generic
- Email Advertising
- Direct Partnerships
- Price Comparison
- Display & retargeting advertising
- Other Affiliate Networks
- In house referrer scheme
