The following are Recommended Brand Guidelines
siblu understands that publishers cannot always implement brand guidelines. Please ensure however that that you use the newly branded logo siblu villages and not the old siblu holidays logo.
logo usage
The siblu logo can appear in 3 colours - white logo on a dark background, blue logo on a light background and a mono logo for a black /white print job. The logo should never be distorted , or reproduced in any other colour other than those specified.
colour usage
three main colours can be used - primary and secondary blues, plus magenta. Different strengths/tints of these colours can also be applied.
using the brand name siblu
The word siblu should always appear bolded in the same font as the rest of the paragraph and be
written with a lower case ‘s’, unless at the start of a sentence.
headlines
The consistent use of lower case headlines will strengthen the look and feel of the siblu brand.
This will reinforce the informal and friendly feel of the brand.
recommended font usage
On printed material, use horatio light for headlines and short intro paragraphs of text of14pt or more. For all other text, futura light orbold should be used. To stress particular wordsthe bolded version of the fonts can be used.
the copy : how do we speak to our customers?
The siblu copy style is very distinctive. Our aim is to come across as trustworthy and enthusiastic, at the same time being personal and interesting with a quirky sense of fun. The copy will therefore convey the brand attributes of ‘intelligent fun, freedom and the personal touch’. All headlines should be written in lowercase only, ignoring normal capitalisation rules. In the body text, normal capitalisation should be used. The only exception is with the word siblu, which always has a lowercase ‘s’, unless at the beginning of the sentence. When siblu is included in text, it should be bolded as siblu
