Welcome to the DefenderShield® AWIN Affiliate Program (the “Program”). These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation as an affiliate partner. By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety.

DefenderShield (“DefenderShield,” “we,” or “us”) reserves the right to update these terms at any time and will provide notification of such updates. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

DEFINITIONS

The following are the terms used throughout this document and their meaning: (i) “We”, “us”, or “our” refers to DefenderShield®, their products and their website; (ii) “you” or “your” refers to the Affiliate; (iii) “our website” refers to DefenderShield® properties located at www.defendershield.com; (iv) “your website” refers to any websites that you will link to our website; (v) “Program” refers to the DefenderShield® AWIN Affiliate Program.

AFFILIATE TERMS SUMMARY

• Application & Approval: You must provide a relevant, active, and high-quality platform (website or social media) for sharing links. Incomplete applications may be denied.
• Website Content Restrictions: Your website cannot contain defamatory, obscene, harmful, or threatening content, or infringe on intellectual property rights.
• Linking Guidelines: Only use affiliate links generated from your AWIN dashboard. “Cookie stuffing,” false/misleading links, and framing DefenderShield’s website are strictly prohibited.
• PPC Restrictions: Bidding on DefenderShield’s trademarked terms on any search or content network is strictly forbidden.
• Coupon Policy: DefenderShield does not provide coupon codes to AWIN accounts. Please contact us if you’d like a coupon code. Use of unauthorized or scraped codes is strictly prohibited and will result in a commission disapproval.
• Right to Remove Affiliates: DefenderShield reserves the right to remove any affiliate and deny pending commissions for policy violations or activity deemed harmful to the brand.

1. Eligibility & Enrollment

To participate in the Program, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have an active and authentic digital presence (social media account, YouTube channel, podcast, blog, or similar owned channel).
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including FTC disclosure requirements.
• Maintain account information that is accurate and up to date.

DefenderShield reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion. Common reasons for denial include providing an irrelevant platform, incomplete application fields, or low-quality content.

2. Affiliate Responsibilities

2.1 Accurate Representation Affiliates must represent DefenderShield products honestly. You may not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims regarding health outcomes, scientific effectiveness, or product specifications beyond what is published in official DefenderShield materials.

2.2 Brand Guidelines All promotional content must be consistent with DefenderShield’s brand values and messaging. Content must not be defamatory, obscene, harmful to minors, or display nudity/sexually explicit materials.

3. Affiliate Links & Tracking

Commissions are earned only when purchases are completed through your assigned AWIN affiliate link.

• Attribution: We use last-click attribution.
• Prohibitions: You will not participate in cookie stuffing, pop-ups, or have false/misleading links. Masking the referring URL or using redirects to bounce a click off a domain from which the click did not originate is strictly prohibited.
• Self-Purchases: Affiliates are not eligible for commissions on purchases made through their own affiliate link.
• No Manipulation: You may only use Affiliate linking code obtained from the AWIN interface without manipulation.

4. Commission Structure & Payments

4.1 Commission Rates Commissions are a percentage of online net sales, after applying discounts and before adding taxes and shipping payments.

4.2 Commission Eligibility Commissions are earned on completed purchases made up to 30 days after clicking your link. Commissions may be reversed for customer disputes, returns, or order cancellations.

4.3 Commission Forfeiture Any violation of this Agreement—including coupon code misuse, fraudulent activity, or unauthorized paid advertising—may result in immediate forfeiture of unpaid commissions and removal from the Program.

5. Coupon Usage Policy

DefenderShield does not issue coupon codes for AWIN accounts. To protect the integrity of our campaigns, affiliates must adhere to the following:

• No Unauthorized Codes: Affiliates may not promote coupon codes found through browser extensions, customer support, or other private campaigns.
• No Code Guessing: Affiliates must not attempt to guess or auto-generate coupon codes.
• No Misleading Offers: You may not advertise expired, misleading, or inflated discount claims. It is unacceptable to mislead customers into clicking on a coupon that does not exist.
• Coupon Extensions & Bots: If you operate a browser extension (e.g., Honey, Capital One Shopping), you must disclose this. We reserve the right to deny commissions from extensions to prevent misattribution.

6. PPC & Trademark Guidelines

Bidding or acquiring any of our trademarked terms for search or content-based campaigns (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

• Negative Matching: You must add our trademark terms as negative keywords in your campaigns.
• Trademarked Terms include but are not limited to: DefenderShield®, defendershield, defender shield, defendershield.com, www.defendershield.com, wwwdefendershieldcom.
• Sequencing: You may not sequence our trademark terms with any other keyword (e.g., "defendershield reviews").
• Penalty: Violations result in forfeiture of all commissions for a minimum of 30 days and your commission level will be set to 0% without warning.

7. Website & Domain Restrictions

• IP Rights: There will be no infringement on our intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Destructive Programming: You will not use viruses, trojan horses, or other routines intended to damage or surreptitiously intercept any system or data.
• Domains: You may not register or use any URL or domain name that includes our trademarked terms or misspellings thereof (e.g., defendershield-coupons.com).
• Framing: Presenting or creating the impression that your website is our website (including framing our website) is prohibited.

8. Software Applications

Affiliates cannot use software (BHOs, reminder services, or program codes) that alerts or redirects users, generates pop-ups, or enables the diversion of commissions from another website.

9. Advertising & Publicity

The Affiliate Program is not to be public knowledge. You shall not distribute information about the Program without prior written consent. All email-based campaigns must be reviewed by us before distribution and must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act.

10. Reversal & Communication Policy

We reserve the right to rectify transactions related to disputes, returns, and violations.

• Validation: You are expected to validate the source of your traffic with clear proof when requested.
• Responsiveness: You must be truthful and responsive within a reasonable time period. Failure to communicate is deemed a material breach of this agreement.

11. Legal Terms

• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DefenderShield from any claims or expenses arising out of your participation in the Program or violation of this Agreement.
• Limitation of Liability: DefenderShield shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the Program.
• Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination, you must remove all DefenderShield promotional content and cease use of brand assets.

a) Your content will not be defamatory, obscene, harmful to minors, threatening, harassing, or displays nudity, pornography or sexually explicit materials. b) You will not employ programs, software or other technology that interferes with traffic flow which attempts to intercept, divert or redirect Internet traffic to or from any other website, or that potentially enables the diversion of Affiliate commissions from another website.c) There will be no infringement on our or any other person's or entity's intellectual property, publicity, privacy or other rights.d) You will not use any viruses, time bombs, cancelbots, trojan horses, worms, or other computer destructive programming routines that will or are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, or expropriate any system, data, or personal information.e) There will be no violation of any law, rule or regulation.f) You will not participate in cookie stuffing, pop-ups, or have false or misleading links. These are strictly prohibited. Additionally, there will be no masking the referring URL information, always presenting the page from where the click originates.g) There will be no redirects to bounce a click off of a domain from which the click did not originate in order to give the appearance that it came from that domain. This is prohibited and a direct violation of the program terms. If such redirection violations are found, your current and past commissions will be voided or your commission level will be set to 0%. This does not include using "out" redirects from the same domain where the affiliate link is placedh) Buying using your own Affiliate link: Affiliates are not eligible for commissions on purchases made through your own affiliate link. If there are special situations where your business makes sales in such a way, we ask that you get in touch with us. Under these situations, we can modify our processes to accommodate your needs.i) Presenting or creating the impression that your Website is our Website or any part of our Website including, without limitation, framing of our Website in any manner is prohibited.j) You only use Affiliate linking code obtained from the affiliate interface without manipulation.k) We already run search engine marketing (PPC) campaigns on Google; therefore, we ask our affiliates not to run PPC campaigns for our products and services on Google.L) Bidding or acquiring any of our trademarked terms, including any variations or misspellings thereof for search or content based campaigns on Google, Bing, MSN, Yahoo or any other network is prohibited.M) You may not sequence our trademark terms with any other keyword (e.g., defendershield coupons, defendershield discount codes).N) Trademarked & prohibited terms include, but are not limited to: DefenderShield®, defendershield, defender shield, defendershield, defender shield, defendershield®, defender shield®, defendershield.com, www.defendershield.com, wwwdefendershieldcomo) A click through must link directly to our website. We strictly prohibit framing of our website.p) Without exception, you must only advertise coupon codes that are provided to you through the Affiliate Program or network.q) There will be no deceptive cookie stuffing. It is unacceptable for you to mislead customers into clicking on an offer or coupon that does not exist or practice similarly deceptive tactics that are generally referred to as "cookie stuffing"R) No Pay Per Click or TM+ Bidding
