Welcome to the Collectiviste Affiliate Program!

Join our affiliate program and earn commissions for sharing some of the most beautiful handmade lighting available in the United Kingdom. Collectiviste’s guiding principle is that of being a ‘business as a force for good’ in the world and with your help, we look forward to doing a lot more of that!

Please simply apply to the Affiliates Programme and once approved by the Collectiviste team you are free to commence your sales initiatives. We evaluate affiliate applications on criteria such as type of site, site quality, site content, variety of site content and items promoted, brand identity, social media presence and alignment with Collectiviste’s values. Your Affiliate application needs to specify the channels that you wish to place Affiliate Links on. If you wish to use additional channels after being approved, we only request that you get in touch with the Collectiviste team for approval.

Commission rates

Our commission structure is based on publisher types - we are offering between 8% to 20% commission on sales with the exception of loyalty and cashback affiliates or where discount codes are applied as outlined below:

Loyalty Affiliates will be awarded commissions of 8% for new customers and 5% for existing customers. 

Cashback affiliates will receive 8% commission for new customers; 5% commission for existing customers over £150 and 3% commission for existing customers under £100. 8% commissions are applied to ALL orders above £300 regardless if they are new or existing customers. 

Cashback sites should ensure that they list out the commission rate for authorised code usage. Unauthorised code usage on cashback sales will result in a 1% commission rate. This should be made clear to avoid transaction queries.

All other affiliate types will receive 8% commission for both new and existing customers. Higher rates will be made available to top performers.

Content publishers will receive 20% commission on all sales. Please note that content needs to be pre-approved by the Collectiviste team. Collectiviste are happy for affiliates to optimise their sites for the correct spelling of the brand name ‘Collectiviste’, with the exception of misspells.

Increased commissions of 15% to 20% are available in return for increased exposure/promotional opportunities, please get in touch to discuss.

For social media, affiliates may only post affiliate links on social media feeds that they operate.

The Collectiviste affiliate programme is available to entities or individuals on qualifying sales that originate from the affiliates authorised channel to the Collectiviste website, please note sales on any other 3rd party platforms (i.e Etsy, Not on the High Street etc) are not included. 

Affiliates may only promote voucher codes that are issued either by AWIN or by Collectiviste directly. Excepting loyalty and cashback affiliates, where discount codes are applied please note a lower base rate of 3% for discounts above 15% and 5% for discounts of 15% and below - please only promote vouchers issued via AWIN or the Collectiviste team.

Collectiviste Ltd reserves the right to withhold payment of commission or suspend publishers if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.

Voucher codes with expiry dates should have those expiry dates clearly displayed and need to be removed or the fact they have expired clearly displayed. Failure to do so may result in suspension from the affiliate program.

PPC is not allowed on this program without prior approval. We also ask that you do not run generic/CSS campaigns without approval.

Affiliates may not bid on or use the word 'collectiviste.com' or 'Collectiviste', derivatives, misspellings or any other attempts to gain preferential listings on Search Engines, Directories or any other kind of online database; any such attempt will result in the termination of an Affiliate's agreement with Collectiviste Ltd.

Offline public relations activities are prohibited without written consent. Affiliates wishing to pass on information regarding offline promotions should contact the Collectiviste team.

Any press where Collectiviste is referenced must have involvement and full sign off from Collectiviste Ltd. Affiliates wishing to pass on information regarding press opportunities should contact the Collectiviste team.

Please feel free to request any specific creatives or links you may require.

In order to allow for automatic updates to uploaded banners to take place, affiliates are requested not to hardcode banners.

Any affiliate wishing to promote by email marketing must first contact Collectiviste for pre-approval.

Any affiliate wishing to construct a landing page for Collectiviste must seek pre-approval.

Affiliate owned domains: 

• Affiliates are permitted to use brand terms as a directory, e.g. www.affiliate.com/collectiviste.
• Affiliates are not permitted to create domains containing brand terms as a domain or sub-domain, e.g. www.affiliate-collectiviste.com.
• Affiliates are not permitted to use any domains owned by Collectiviste Ltd as their display URL without written permission.

The following types of websites are prohibited from participating in the Affiliates Programme without express separate prior written permission from Collectiviste:

• Price comparison sites;
• Sites using 'pop-ups' or 'pop-unders' (websites that launch 'pop-up' or hidden windows on users’ browsers);
• Sites that perform “dropshipping” or similar delivery services;
• Sites that promote unlicensed items with registered trademarks or other intellectual property owned by third parties;
• Sites that promote or encourage users to post third party or user-generated content;

Now for the boring stuff:

• Commissions are calculated by applying the relevant rate to the price of a qualifying sale excluding postage and VAT. Commissions are not paid on sales that are cancelled, refunded, returned, or on any transaction that results in a chargeback within the 30 day period (in line with our returns policy). Commissions are subject to review and other limitations for fraudulent activity. Collectiviste reserve the right to withhold commissions for any legitimate reason. You are solely responsible for any taxes that may be due in connection with your participation in the Affiliates Programme.
• Affiliates agree to promptly implement any request from Collectiviste to remove, alter or modify any Affiliate Link, graphic, or banner ad containing Collectiviste affiliate links.
• For paid search it is prohibited to bid for any keywords containing Collectiviste trademarks for internet search advertising, search engine optimisation, or for any other purpose. Affiliates may not purchase domain names that have variations from Collectiviste’s domain or misspellings in them which are solely intended to direct traffic away from the Collectiviste Site, or purchase any domains containing Collectiviste Trademarks, including variations or misspellings.
• Affiliates are not permitted to engineer their site in such a manner that it pulls internet traffic away from the Collectiviste Site, including but not limited: "keyword stuffing" such as using terms in hidden or live text that is meant to attract search engine spiders in order to determine higher relevance or rank than the Collectiviste Site.

You are solely responsible for your site, including its development, operation and maintenance and all materials that appear on or within it. Collectiviste is not liable for any content or information on your Authorised Channels or for any of your users’ claims relating to your Authorised Channels, and you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Collectiviste harmless from and against all claims relating to your site and the content of your social media pages. You agree that during your participation in the Affiliates Programme, you will comply with the following requirements with respect to your website, advertising for your website, and social media presence:

• Ensuring all banners, text links, individual product links and search box ads are up to date with what is offered by Collectiviste through the Awin Network or by written agreement with the Collectiviste team;
• Ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of materials and content posted on your site;
• Ensuring that materials and content posted on your site are not libellous or unlawful, and do not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party (including, but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, privacy or other personal or proprietary rights);
• Ensuring that your site complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including any codes of practice applicable to your marketing and displaying content on your website.
• Collectiviste may suspend your account and/or withhold commissions if it determines you are in violation of any of the conditions.
• As an Affiliate, it’s your responsibility to know and follow any applicable regulations that apply to your site. Collectiviste is unable to provide legal advice. Affiliates must essentially comply with all applicable laws as they relate to the operation of their website and any advertising conducted thereon. You agree that you are responsible for all personal information that you collect from users of your site and that you must obtain valid consent (if applicable) from end users to collect, use or disclose this information as required by applicable law.
  
  Affiliates must ensure all email marketing complies with applicable laws and regulations. 
• As an Affiliate, it is your responsibility to comply with the UK’s Committee of Advertising Practice Codes including their guidance on Online Affiliate Marketing.
• You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Collectiviste Ltd, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their respective directors, members, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, successors and assigns from and against any and all damages, judgements, settlements, awards, penalties, and costs (including reasonable lawyers’ fees) in relation to a third party claim arising from or related to: (i) Your negligence, willful misconduct or acts or omissions; (ii) Your violation of applicable laws or regulations or applicable codes of practice; (iii) Your breach or other non-compliance with the terms of this Affiliate Policy or (iv) Your Authorised Channels and other content.
