Programme Rules
Please note the below rules in relation to the PC Case Gear affiliate programme. They must be followed at all times, unless prior agreement has been made with PC Case Gear in writing.
- General Restrictions
Affiliates must not include trademark brand terms in the sub-domain of their website's URL. For example, http://pccasegear.affiliate.com - Affiliates must not purchase or own any domain names related to the trademark terms and its variants in the URL. For example, www.pccasegear-au.com
- Affiliates may use correctly spelt PC Case Gear trademarked brand terms after the domain of their website's URL. For example, http://www.affiliate.com/pccasegear
- Our brand is very important to us, so please make sure you always refer to us as PC Case Gear or www.pccasegear.com
- Affiliates must not post on any PC Case Gear social media platform to drive traffic to their webpage. PC Case Gear social media platforms include Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and our blog.
PPC
We invest heavily in search engine advertising and we, therefore, impose the below restrictions. Any infringement of these rules may see the affiliate suspended and all commissions removed.
- Affiliates are not permitted to bid on any trademarked brand terms related to "PC Case Gear" or "PCCG". For the avoidance of doubt, this includes all mis-spellings and variations.
- For the avoidance of doubt, no unauthorised bidding is allowed on trademark brand + discount-related search terms. For example, "pc case gear discount codes"
- Affiliates cannot directly link to the PC Case Gear website
- Affiliates may not use the below words in their adverts:
"Authorised"
"Official"
"Recommended"
- Affiliates are not permitted to have any Google shopping activity live using PC Case Gear products and name.
Browser Extensions & Traffic Quality
PC Case Gear partners with affiliates to drive genuine, top-of-funnel traffic and customer acquisition. Affiliates are strictly prohibited from utilising browser extensions, toolbars, pop-ups, or software that triggers exclusively at the cart or checkout stages of the customer journey.
Any sales generated via "cart sniping," cookie stuffing, or last-minute attribution overwriting, where the affiliate has not demonstrably driven the customer to the site, will be classified as a violation of these terms and automatically declined.
Discount Codes
We reserve the right to withhold payment of commission if unauthorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale. Commissions will only be paid on sales utilising discount codes explicitly provided to affiliates via the AWIN platform. Sales utilizing codes scraped from other sources (such as email newsletters, influencer campaigns, or internal promotions) will be declined.
Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised codes may also have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed. PC Case Gear follows a de-duping validation process, whereby rewarding the commission to the genuine "last click" of purchase.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this due date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme. Please also ensure that you observe IAB voucher code best practice guidelines.
Compliance & Program Termination
PC Case Gear reserves the right to decline commissions for any transactions deemed to violate these terms and conditions. We monitor transaction velocities, referrer data, and coupon usage closely. In the event of a breach of these rules, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or remove the offending affiliate from the programme. Where possible, we will communicate partnership termination and the reasoning directly via the AWIN platform.
