Rules for advertising
Affiliates who do not comply with Awin and Jotex advertising rules will be suspended and will lose their earned compensation. In addition to the Awin Affiliate Agreement, the terms and conditions you agree to when advertising for Jotex are as follows:

- Newsletters
It is allowed to use Jotex in newsletters.
- Discount codes
You are NOT allowed to use discount codes from email, paper mailings or any other advertising that Jotex sends directly to its customers. Commission will not be paid for sales generated with such discount codes. However, it is permitted to promote discount codes that Jotex communicates directly through Awin as well as any discounted prices and sale promotions that are communicated openly on the Jotex website. Jotex may also give selected affiliates the opportunity to work with discount codes. Terms and conditions and validity period of discount codes must be clearly stated.

- Incentive and points sites
It is permitted to drive traffic to Jotex through so-called incentive and points sites.


- Keyword policy
Jotex has a completely closed keyword policy. Buying the trademark "Jotex" is prohibited. It is also not allowed to buy any distinctions or misspellings of this word. It is also forbidden to drive traffic directly to Jotex through the purchase of sponsored links, regardless of the word.

 

As a publisher, you are obliged to make it clear for consumers when your content contains advertising material. As an approved Awin Publisher you have agreed to follow local laws and standards as stipulated in section 9.2.4 and 9.2.5 of the publisher terms and conditions.

 

Recommendations listed by other industry sources within the Nordic region include the following:

  • You should make it clear in the top of your post (blog or social media) that the post includes advertisement
  • You may choose to use different fonts in order to highlight that the post includes advertisement
  • You may choose to use a specific background formatting in order to highlight a post including advertisement
