All affiliates are required to adhere to the following:
Applications
All affiliates who apply to the Love the Sales affiliate program will be reviewed prior to a decision being reached. To maximise your chance of being accepted, clearly express your relevance and value to the Love the Sales programme in your application and only list the URL/URLs that you plan to feature Love the Sales on.
Any approvals, apply only to the urls provided at the time of application. You do not have permission to feature Love the Sales on any sites that are not listed in your original application.
The following types of sites, or behaviours, are not permitted on the Love the Sales affiliate programme:
Under construction
- Contain adult content or are pornographic or sexually explicit
- Promote violence, discrimination, terrorism, drug use, harassment, or other illegal activities
- Use spyware or phishing techniques or are motivated by fraudulent and dishonest practises
- Adopt black hat web practices
- Work against the interest of Love the Sales
- Participate in fraudulent activities
This is not an exhaustive list. If in doubt, please contact us (affiliates@velstar.co.uk) prior to application or promotion for approval.
Any affiliate found to be breaking any of the non-permitted activities will be removed from the affiliate programme immediately.
Promoting Love the Sales
Any copy, assets or creative made or designed by an affiliate to promote Love the Sales must be approved by Love the Sales prior to its use.
When promoting Love the Sales affiliates may not:
- Put the Love the Sales website into frames or use masked URLs
- Purchase domain names which include the Love the Sales brand name, registered trademarks, nor any misspells or variations
- Alter any of the creative or text links available through Affiliate Window interface
- Hardcode banners into their site, so updates made to those available through Affiliate Window may take immediate effect
