TicketSwap UK

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the TicketSwap Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions

The affiliate will recommend TicketSwap as a platform to buy and sell tickets to its followers and visitors.

The affiliate can promote Ticketswap on their own website, app,  social media profiles, or through direct outreach to their user base (e.g. email marketing).

The affiliate will link the events in their database with TicketSwap events and add a ‘Buy on TicketSwap’ button to the events in the affiliate’s event directory. The visitors clicking on this button will be landing on the TicketSwap event page.

The button must be in accordance with TicketSwap’s brand guidelines.

In order to incentivise the referral and recommendation by the affiliate, TicketSwap will pay “Commission”. Affiliate will choose what form the Commission will take by picking one of two Commission Models outlined below - subject to TicketSwap approval:

Model A) Revenue share model
Affiliate will get paid depending on the volume of transaction value they drive. Once a user clicks on an affiliate link, and converts on TicketSwap by either purchasing or selling a ticket, the affiliate earns 10% of TicketSwap's Service fee (incl. VAT) for each conversion that occurs through a tracking link. Note: the Service Fee charged to Ticketswap users is 5% (incl. VAT) of the ticket price for a buying user and 5% (incl. VAT) for a selling user (see page 2 for more details on different types of VAT).

Model B) Fee per New User Registration
Affiliate will get paid depending on the number of new user registrations they drive. Once a user clicks on an affiliate link and then registers (i.e. creates an account) on TicketSwap, the partner will earn a fee. The amount of this fee depends on the country of the registered user and is as follows:

- If the Referred User is from the Netherlands, Belgium, or Hungary, TicketSwap will pay €0.5 (excluding VAT) for every user that creates an account on TicketSwap.

- If the Referred User is from France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia, or Brazil, TicketSwap will pay €1 (excluding VAT) for every user that creates an account on TicketSwap.

- If the Referred User is from countries other than the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia, or Brazil, TicketSwap will pay €0.4 (excluding VAT) for every user that creates an account on TicketSwap.

To track these conversions and accurately tally the amount of commission share, all referrals by the affiliate must use tracking links (i.e. UTM'd links) that will be provided by TicketSwap. These links can include direct-to-event links or other TicketSwap pages. Only conversions through these links within a 30 day cookie window will be eligible for commission sharing.

The affiliate’s UTM parameters will be given to the affiliate by TicketSwap prior to the start of the affiliate partnership. For other platforms to be included, for example the affiliate’s social media pages, the two parties have to agree on the parameters which can be changed if approved through email. The parameters are made up of three parts:

utm_campaign
utm_source
utm_medium

The total amount of commission share earned by the affiliate will be tallied at the beginning of each month which will be updated as a whole period. And this amount will be invoiced on a monthly basis.

TicketSwap have the right to cancel any commissions from sales they believe have breached these terms.

We do not allow affiliates to scrape the site for events. All affiliates must use the event feeds provided as a means of accessing TicketSwap’s event directory.
