Program Terms

Brand Representation

Publisher’s ad copy cannot misrepresent the relationship between the Publisher and OutdoorMaster. Ad copy cannot contain misspellings, incorrect grammar, or false statements regarding discounts and coupons. It is the Publisher’s responsibility to expire deals, promotions & offers in accordance with any date restrictions on OutdoorMaster ad campaigns. Ad copy should always represent OutdoorMaster in a professional manner. Claims such as 'authorized wholesaler' or 'official site' can never be used in ad copy.

Coupon Policy

At certain times OutdoorMaster may offer coupon codes intended for other online marketing channels like Email, Social Media, or Retargeting. Publishers joined to the OutdoorMaster Affiliate Program are prohibited from reposting or marketing these coupons codes. Publishers found in violation of this policy will be asked to remove all exclusive codes from their website(s.) Affiliates in violation of the Coupon Policy are subject to commission decreases and removal from the OutdoorMaster Affiliate Program. 

Cookie Policy

OutdoorMaster online marketing channels follow a strict cookie policy, and cookies are subject to being trumped by the last referring source with marketing campaign tracking. Credit for a referral will only be given to the last referring channel/website at the time of conversion.

Return Policy

Publishers commission will be reversed if an item is returned within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. In addition, canceled, fraudulent and voided orders are subject to commission reversals.

Domain Names and URLs

Publisher websites must have a unique URL (including sub-domain and URL path) that do not contain OutdoorMaster trademarks, or misspellings and variations.

Search Engine Marketing

Publishers may not bid on OutdoorMaster trademarks, misspellings or variations through Google Adwords, Yahoo! GEMINI, or Bing Ads. The combination of trademark plus keyword bidding is not acceptable.

Publishers may not direct link to OutdoorMaster using Google Adwords, Yahoo! GEMINI, or Bing Ads. All SEM ads placed on these networks are required to land on the publisher website (no redirects).

Publishers may not place ads and direct link on Google Display Network; this includes text, image, video and media rich ads. Publishers can use Google Display Network if landing traffic on their website first. Publishers are allowed to direct link and trademark bid using tier-two search engines Ask.com, DuckDuckGo.com, A9.com, AOL.com.

Acceptance Criteria

The affiliate approval process is a thorough one and involves a review of key criteria: content relevant to the OutdoorMaster brand, site usability and upkeep, and a high level of traffic.

Comparison Shopping Engines

Publishers cannot submit datafeeds directly to 3rd party comparison shopping engines (Google Shopping, Price Grabber, Shopping.com, Become, Shopzilla…)

Pop-Up, Pop-Under, Re-Directs and Software

Publishers may not use site redirects, pop-ups or pop-unders that link to OutdoorMaster, unless approved by the affiliate team. Malicious software downloads are strictly prohibited and will be subject to immediate termination.

Spam and Electronic Messages

Publisher must adhere to the Federal CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 [the “Act”], with respect to email marketing.

Unacceptable Content

Publisher may not post adult-oriented content on any page where OutdoorMaster content appears. Publisher may not post any offensive content that is in any way harmful, threatening, obscene, harassing or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.

Communication

OutdoorMaster asks that Publishers adhere closely to the terms set forth in this agreement. We are dedicated to our affiliate program and will provide support to our publishers to help them meet their financial goals. 

Termination

At any time, the OutdoorMaster Affiliate Program management team reserves the right to reverse transactions/commissions, remove the active status of any Publisher account it deems to be in violation of the terms and conditions set forth above. Individual breach details will be promptly communicated to Publishers deemed to be in violation of these terms of service prior to any account removal.
