Terms and Conditions

Commissions:

- Commissions will only be awarded to affiliates after the customer has stayed in the hotel. This is so we can avoid paying commissions to affiliates whose sale may become void when a customer cancels their booking at the hotel.
- Pending transactions where the date of stay in the hotel has passed and the sale has not been validated will be deleted from the system at the end of each month.
- Please note that only sales tracked by Awin will be eligible for payment and consequently Resident Hotels will not approve any disputed transactions. All cash back affiliates must display this information on the merchant page.
- You can view the date of the booking for any sale in your Awin management area.
- We do not pay commission on our gift cards
- Please note we only award commission on bookings made online

Branding:

- Affiliates must use the correct company name, Resident Hotels. Any reference to our brand should be referred to as ‘The Resident’.
- Our hotel names should be written as: The Resident Covent Garden, The Resident Kensington, The Resident Soho, The Resident Victoria and The Resident Liverpool. When listing our hotels, they should also be that order.
- Please only reproduce The Resident logo on a white or black background.
- Please do not produce web pages that purport to be produced by The Resident.
- Please ensure all of your site copy is reflective of any current offers and company information that is provided for you here and on The Resident website.
- Any affiliates that do not follow these terms may be temporarily suspended from the programme.
- Please note that from time to time we carry out audits to ensure that all promotional activity of The Resident is accurate and in line with our brand guidelines. In some cases, if sites are misrepresenting The Resident, we will issue a temporary suspension but until this is resolved and of course reinstate immediately following.
- We will check your sites against the following and get in touch / temporarily suspend based on the following:

-        Logo is unclear / skewed
-        The headline offer message and price point is incorrect
-        Listed expiry date is incorrect
-        Offer terms and conditions are incorrect
-        Copy reflective of The Resident is incorrect
-        We were unable to identify your linking methods

We reserve the right to suspend any affiliates whose promotional method and/or site content is either considered irrelevant, inappropriate, insufficient or not aligned with The Resident’s brand values.   

How do you get paid?

The Resident pays their affiliates once a guest has stayed.

Once a transaction is validated, Awin then raises an invoice for The Resident on 1st of the month in keeping with the standard Awin Invoice & payment runs. These invoices are sent to The Resident finance team for approval. Once approved at The Resident, Awin receives payment and will pay affiliates on either the 1st or 15th of the month, depending on whether the affiliate is on monthly or twice monthly payment runs.

Note: all transaction queries or claims must be raised or disputed within one year of the booking date. Any claims that come through after that date will be automatically declined however The Resident reserves the right to pay out these claims up to 1 year after.
