Commission & Tracking
Please note that Home Leisure Direct uses a manual validation process for confirming orders through the website. The commission groups registered in the Awin system may be overwitten with correct values once the order is confirmed by our sales team. Publishers will be notified of any updates, amends, cancellations or issues in regards to an order that is affiliated with their commission.
The action of placing the product in the cart must be instigated by the customer and take place on the Home Leisure Direct domain. The publisher cannot pass customers directly to the shopping basket.
PPC and Voucher Codes
Promotion through PPC and voucher codes is not available at this time.
No commissions will be paid to voucher code or cashback website publisher types.
Branding & Use of Creative Assets
The Home Leisure Direct logo cannot be amended in any way by the publisher.
The banners and creatives provided cannot be amended in any way by the publisher. If the publisher has a legitimate need for an altered version or would like to commission their own custom version of the creatives and banners, then please get in touch with the available contact from Home Leisure Direct who may provide these. These will be provided on a case by case basis.
The publisher must not claim to be an 'official' partner or operating arm of Home Leisure Direct. The customer must understand that they are on a third party website not belonging to Home Leisure Direct, and any use of Home Leisure Direct's logos, branding or creative assets must be used in a way that confirms this. Attempts to imitate or replciate Home Leisure Direct's website or branding will not be approved by us.
The publisher must not directly or indirectly purchase domain names that include the words "Home Leisure Direct" or any variations thereof. Variations include misspellings, foreign translations and other top-level domain extensions.
The publisher cannot indicate that they provide a better offering than Home Leisure Direct in relation to Home Leisure Direct's products whether through digital media or written content. This includes offering additional promotions, products or services than Home Leisure Direct provides at the time of publishing content.
Content Advisory Warning
Honest reviews and descriptions on products provided by Home Leisure Direct are warmly welcomed. However, if a publisher's content could be regarded as negative in any way towards a product that is sold by Home Leisure Direct, then the publisher must review the content with the account manager at Home Leisure Direct before publishing. This includes content that is not linked to the Home Leisure Direct website and/or is not intended for commissions by the publisher. Home Leisure Direct will have the final say on whether this content can be published.
The publisher must not communicate to a wider audience their participation in this program with Home Leisure Direct without Home Leisure Direct's express consent first. This includes press releases, blogs or other broad-based communications.
Third-Party Intellectual Property
Home Leisure Direct's product range includes products expressing intellectual property assets by international brand names such as Jack Daniel's and Rasson. These brands often have strict brand guidelines of their own including restrictions on affiliate content and types of content produced in regards to their brand. Upon undertaking a new publisher, Home Leisure Direct will provide any and all information pertinent to the publisher in regards to the intellectual property of these brands. Home Leisure Direct will update the publisher on any and all updates to the intellectual property guidelines set by these brands in a timely manner.
The publisher must abide by the brand guidelines of Home Leisure Direct's associated brands when producing content in relation to those brands. Any breaches of copyright and intellectual property laws will not be accepted and may be subject to legal repercussions.
Jack Daniel’s content must only be used on websites that are clearly aimed at over 18s. No products or logos should be used on any sites that are frequented by under 18s. The logos and product images cannot be altered in any way. All posts must confirm that all products shown are produced by Home Leisure Direct under license to Jack Daniel’s. Any sites failing to do this may be investigate by the Jack Daniel’s brand protection team.
