Do I need to use #ad in social posts?
When your content contains or directs people to a link or discount code that means you get paid for ‘clickthrough’s’ or sales, it counts as advertising because it is ‘affiliate marketing’. To make it sufficiently clear upfront to your followers when content is advertising you should, as an absolute minimum, include a prominent label at the beginning - don’t bury the disclosure in many other hashtags or leave it poorly contrasted with the content background.Always mark social media posts with #ad. For more information, please see the Advertising Standards Auhtority guidance on influencer marketing, including affiliate marketing https://www.asa.org.uk/resource/influencers-guide.html.
What should I say about Symprove?
We want any affiliate post to be authentic and encourage you to use your own words. Please don’t refer to any medical conditions or directly or indirectly state that taking Symprove prevents, cures or treats any disease or make health claims. Symprove is a food supplement only.
We encourage you to include the product in a way that is natural to you, along with your shot glass.
Can I talk about other products in the same post?
No, we ask you only refer to Symprove in a single post.
