Guidelines for approval to the programme:
Thanks so much for your interest in the our programme. Please do apply to join - we'd love to have you on-board :)
Before you're able to participate, we'll need to approve your site.
What we're looking for:
- Sites that are easy on the well written and aligned with our mission.
- We're particularly keen to work with websites that are in keeping with our brand values.
- Sites that are well maintained, updated regularly and rigorous with rules and best practice.
- Value alignment - we do not want our brand to be associated with hate speech, intolerance or discrimination of any kind.
These guidelines are general and we reserve the right to make exceptions. We will cease to work with sites who do not adhere to our programme terms and affiliate best practice.
PPC/Keyword Policy:
We do not accept PPC campaigns as part of our affiliate programme. We do not allow PPC bidding on our brand name.
Email Affiliates:
Homethings wishes to work with email affiliates on their campaign. Any email creative designed by an affiliate must be signed off by Homethings or Affiliate Window.
Creative:
Affiliates are not permitted to hard copy creative or logos. Please use the creative available within the Affiliate Window interface.
Exclusive Voucher Codes:
Discount codes offered to particular affiliates on an exclusive basis cannot be taken from their website and put on your own. If a commission comes through that has used the exclusive voucher code that was not permitted to you, payment will be declined.
Terms & conditions - General
- Commission will be awarded on sales that use either our tracked affiliate links or our affiliate discount code(s). We cannot attribute sales, and hence we cannot pay a commission, unless the buyer has specifically purchased through your link or via your unique discount code.
Homethings do not currently work with any PPC affiliates.
Bidding on the brand term (including variations or misspellings of this) is prohibited on all search engines without prior written permission from Homethings.
Affiliates may not use any domain owned by Homethings for PPC linking without express written permission.
Affiliates may not currently promote Homethings through search engine marketing via a landing page.
Affiliates are asked not to register domains which are similar or misspellings of the Homethings brand. Any activity of this kind on the campaign will result in commissions being declined.
Any use of competitor names and trademarks to promote Homethings in any form is strictly prohibited.
Any voucher codes promoted must be provided through the Affiliate Program. We reserve the right to withhold payment if non-authorised voucher codes are promoted.
An unauthorised coupon/promotion code is a code that hasn’t been communicated via a Homethings employee. This includes all coupons or any other coupon/promotion code from other channels.
Publishers must not feature any unauthorised coupon/promotion codes, nor must publishers cite a URL to that coupon/promotion code anywhere on their website. This includes voucher codes offered to particular affiliates on an exclusive basis that cannot be taken from their website and put on your own. If a commission comes through that has used the exclusive voucher code that was not permitted to you, payment will be declined.
Publishers must not feature an expired coupon/promotion code outside the stated promotional period, this constitutes use of an unauthorised code.
Homethings will decline commissions on all orders when an unauthorised promotion code has been used, or a code from another channel source
Affiliates found to be using unauthorised voucher codes face immediate suspension from the program
Affiliates are asked not to register domains that are similar or confusingly similar to the Homethings brand name and registered trademark. Any activity of this kind on the campaign will result in commissions being declined and will mean affiliates face immediate suspension.
Affiliates may not put the Homethings website into frames or use masked URLs.
In applying for the Homethings affiliate program you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
