This is expressly forbidden and will result in the termination of an Affiliate's agreement with The Cornish Bed Company.

Use of voucher codes

  • Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the The Cornish Bed Company affiliate programme.
  • The Cornish Bed Company reserve the right to withhold payment of commission or suspend publishers if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.
  • Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme.

Natural Search

  • The Cornish Bed Company are happy for affiliates to optimise their sites for the correct spelling of their brand term The Cornish Bed Company. They would like to request that this does not happen for misspells. This would include the use of misspelled terms in metatags, page titles and so on.

Domain Restrictions

1). Direct linking

  • Affiliates are not permitted to use any domains owned by The Cornish Bed Company as their display URL without express written permission.

2). Affiliate-owned domains

  • Affiliates are permitted to use brand terms as a directory, e.g. www.affiliate.com/thecornishbedcompany.
  • Affiliates are not permitted to create domains containing brand terms as a domain or sub-domain, e.g. www.affiliate-thecornishbedcompany.co.uk.

3). Landing pages

  • Any affiliate wishing to construct a landing page for The Cornish Bed Company should first contact the account management team for pre-approval at marketing@cornishbeds.co.uk.

Promotion Restrictions

1) Email Marketing

  • Any affiliate wishing to promote The Cornish Bed Company by email marketing must first contact marketing@cornishbeds.co.uk for pre-approval.

2) Offline Public Relations Activities

  • Offline public relations activities are expressly not permitted. Affiliates wishing to pass on information regarding offline promotions should contact marketing@cornishbeds.co.uk

3) Press

  • Any press where The Cornish Bed Company is referenced must have involvement and full sign off from The Cornish Bed Company. Affiliates wishing to pass on information regarding press opportunities should contact marketing@cornishbeds.co.uk.

Commission Structure

  • 3% commission is currently paid out on all products.

Creative

  • Affiliates may not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Affiliate program interface without prior written permission. Out of date/redundant creative, links or using domains including the term ‘The Cornish Bed Company’ or similar derivatives is expressly forbidden.
  • In order to allow for automatic updates to uploaded banners to take place, affiliates are requested not to hardcode banners.
