Samsung Programme Terms
Our regulatory compliance policy
- All Affiliates must ensure the relevant regulatory compliance.
- In accordance with Data Regulation, Affiliates will obtain the prior, freely given, specific informed, unambiguous and revocable consent of any Visitors to any cookies served by AWIN on the Visitor as a result of a Click.
Our brand compliance policy
- Affiliates must only use materials containing the Samsung brand, that have been provided by Samsung or the Samsung Awin Affiliate team. If Affiliates wish to use materials that have not been provided by the Advertiser, on which the Affiliate brand is proposed to be used, they must submit these materials for Samsung’s Witten approval. Samsung may in its absolute discretion withhold such approval or grant it on conditions as it thinks fit.
- All booked tenancy / exposure placements require approval from the Samsung affiliate team prior to go live. Please submit a review of the placement to the Account Manager and the team will be able to review and approve.
- Affiliates promoting Samsung offers must adhere to the copy provided by Samsung or the Samsung Awin Affiliate Team. This copy cannot be altered.
Non compliance
- Samsung reserves the right to suspend any affiliates from the programme immediately if they are found to be in breach of the above terms and conditions. If you are not sure about what you can and cannot do, please contact the program’s account manager prior to undertaking any activity.
Confidentiality
- The publisher undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of all information constituting Samsung's trade secret within the meaning of Art. 11 (2) of the Act of April 16, 1993 on Combating Unfair Competition, that is, in particular, information about Samsung products and planned Samsung advertising campaigns or other Samsung activities that have not yet been made public by Samsung, that is:
- Information about products before their official premiere,
- Information about planned marketing, advertising, promotional activities of Samsung or Samsung's brand prior to their commencement;
- Marketing material, including press releases, prior to its publication by Samsung or Samsung's consent to its publication.
- Samsung's confidential information may only be disclosed after the secrecy period or with the express consent of Samsung.
IMPORTANT for Subnetworks:
As an approved subnetwork you are and will be responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations related to partners on your platform. When reporting traffic and sales back to the Samsung program, you must use the click ref or publisher URL field to identify the publisher and inform us of the last referring URL that drove the sale. Partners that do not comply will be suspended from ALL Samsung programs. Samsung holds the right to decline any transactions without a clearly defined website URL.
