Search Term Restrictions
These restrictions are including, but not limited to PPC (any search engine), AdWords, AdSense, Social Networks, Content Networks etc.
The following keywords, and variations and misspellings, are exclusive to Freewheel and cannot be referenced to in any paid search advertising that may compete with our own paid strategy. We would like you to add these as broad match negatives:
- Freewheel
- Freewheel Cycles
- Madison
- Madison Clothing
- Genesis
- Genesis Bikes
- Ridgeback
- Ridgeback Bikes
- Saracen
- Saracen Bikes
- Adventure Bikes
- MPART
- MPART Wheels
- Aztec
- Nutrak
As mentioned, affiliates are not allowed to bid on variations or misspellings of these words either.
Example: Freeewheel, Freeheel Cycles, Freewheel Bike Shop, etc
De-Duplication Policy
Freewheel actively de-duplicate all sources of advertising. This includes:
- Paid search adverts (PPC)
- Shopping/Price Comparison Engines
- Paid Banners
- Email Marketing
- Display Marketing
- Other affiliate networks
Cancelled / Part Orders
Cancelled or part orders will be processed by Freewheel and we will provide as much information as possible where we have to cancel transactions. Part orders will be fully paid out against the value of the remaining part of the order.
Voucher Codes
Affiliates are only allowed to promote codes that have been distributed directly by Freewheel or Affiliate Window.
Price Comparison Engines
Affiliates are not permitted to appear on any of the shopping/price comparison sites that are listed below:
- Google Shopping
- Bing Shopping
- Gmail Advertising
Product Feed
The Freewheel product feed is available to market Freewheel products only.
To be used on the affiliates own website. The feed is not to be edited and uploaded to any 3rd party price comparison or shopping engine.
The product feed will be updated daily, however all prices are subject to change within a business day in line with AWIN's update protocol.
Ad Copy Restrictions
Affiliates are not permitted to use any of our brand names within their ad copy for Paid Search activity.
Domain Restrictions
Affiliates are not permitted to include any of our brand names (including misspells and variations) in their URLs.
Example: www.freewheel.co.uk, www.freewheelcycles.co.uk, www.freewheeloffers.co.uk etc.
Affiliates found to be including Freewheel in their domain names will be in breach of the program T&Cs and may be removed from the program.
Gift Vouchers
Freewheel will not pay out commission on sale where a gift voucher is used to pay.
Returns and Commission Payment
Freewheel operates a 30 day returns policy, only after this period will the sale be classified valid and qualify for a commission. The 30 day returns window starts on the day the order is dispached. Orders fully returned or cancelled will be void of commission, part returns will be ammended.
Notice of Changes to Program Terms and Conditions
Freewheel reserves the right to change any of these terms, conditions and restrictions at any time, without prior notice.
