DPD Local Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
By submitting your application to the DPD Local affiliate programme, you agree and accept the following terms and conditions, in addition to the Affiliate Window standard terms and conditions as outlined in your contract with the network.
Any Affiliate found to be in breach of any of the terms and conditions will be removed from the programme and may have any due commissions revoked on investigation.
Your website
Your website shall not contain:
· Any false, inaccurate, libellous, misleading or disparaging representations or statements regarding DPD Local, its partners or the providers of any of its services.
· Any negligent, unlawful, harassing, libellous or otherwise objectionable or illegal content or content that infringes the rights of any other person.
You shall remove from your website any materials or copy on DPD Local’s request as soon as reasonably practical and in any event within seven days of being asked to do so.
Commission Approval Criteria
Commission is payable on sales tracked directly through Awin, attributed to the Affiliate Account ID on a last click wins basis. Commission on sales is paid as follows:
· 10% Commission awarded for new customer sales – excluding VAT charges.
· 1% Commission awarded for existing customer sales – excluding VAT charges.
Sales must be validated by DPD Local with confirmation that payment has been received in full. Commission will be paid providing all terms and conditions have been adhered to.
DPD Local follow a deduping policy on last click referral. If the transaction finally completes in another paid media channel, your commission may be declined.
PPC Activity / Keywords
Whilst we encourage affiliates to bid on generic terms within all search engines, we are very protective of our brand. You must not, therefore, engage in any sponsored search activity that involves bidding on any electronic search engine in respect of the search words “DPD Local”, any search word or phrase containing the words “DPD Local” and/or any search word or phrase that contains, is a derivative, shortening or misspelling of, and/or directly relates to any brand names of DPD Local or any other website owned or administered by DPD Local. This includes search engines such as Yahoo (YSM), MSN (aka Bing), Google, and other paid for listings or pay per click providers.
The only exception to this is when an affiliate is expressly and specifically authorised, with a formal contract in place, to carry out this activity by DPD Local.
Linking
You must not link directly to www.dpdlocal-online.co.uk or apply re-directs for any products offered via the Affiliate Network from any paid (own generic ads) or natural search listings. All links must clearly identify the affiliate relationship by landing the consumer on the affiliate site prior to clicking through to the DPD Local site.
Creative / Banners
Please use the graphical elements and text links provided by Affiliate Window. If you require any custom links or copy, please contact Affiliate Window who will be glad to pass on your request.
In addition, you must only use the most recent creative and copy supplied through the network portal. This ensures, amongst other things, that the products you are promoting are current and that the tracking links are up to date and fully functioning.
Audits will be undertaken on a regular basis to ensure affiliates are displaying the correct version, content and imagery at all times.
Affiliates must dynamically link creative from the network to ensure it is always the latest version. Please contact us immediately if for any reason you feel you cannot work with dynamic links. Any affiliates found to be hard-coding links or creative will be subject to their account being paused pending a full audit.
Voucher Codes
Affiliates are only permitted to use voucher codes that are specifically assigned to them, unless a public discount code has been issued across the programme. If a voucher code has been supplied to a specific Affiliate, any sales attributed to another Affiliate using this voucher code may not be approved and commission will therefore be withheld. Commission will not be paid on sales where a code has been used that was not directly supplied to affiliates, this includes voucher codes that are sent to DPD Local’s email database and social channels.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise.
Please note that cashback and a voucher code cannot be used in conjunction with each other and sales will be declined unless otherwise stated.
Transactions with the following voucher code prefixes are non affiliate codes, and if purchases are made using these codes, commissions will be declined. Voucher Prefix: “SENDAGAIN”, “MMN”, “WELCOME”, “COMEBACK”.
Cancellation
Commission or cashback will not be paid under the following circumstances
· Any order that is cancelled before the validation process takes place.
· Any order that is deemed to be fraudulent.
· Any order that is void due to a chargeback on a credit card
Use of Emails / Email Marketing
You may send emails or produce any other marketing material that reference DPD Local products without the prior written consent of both DPD Local and Affiliate Window. We will pay commission for any sales/leads generated by these alternative means. If you are interested in being an email affiliate, please let us know and we will be happy to provide further information.
Reward, incentive and cashback
DPD Local currently allows the use of reward, incentive and cashback sites (sites whereby the consumer is incentivised to apply for a service in return for cash, member points or other tangible items) If you are a reward, incentive or cashback site and wish to join the Program, please contact us to discuss your site and intentions. All applications will be considered on an individual basis.
