Email marketing
Sending out commercial communications from Awin is only permitted if the publisher is demonstrably compliant in accordance with Article 11.7 of the Telecommunications Act, the guidelines of the ACM and the rules of conduct of Awin. The Awin Code of Conduct must be signed in the possession of Awin Benelux so that they are always transferable at the request of the ACM.
- Previews must be submitted for approval via the E-mail Approval Tool
- When submitting a preview, the publisher indicates that they agree with Article 11.7 of the Telecommunication Act and that prior permission has been obtained from all e-mail recipients.
- The advertisement may only be sent if the advertiser has approved the preview and shipment.
- The publisher himself is responsible for any consequences that are imposed if one has committed to sending spam, or sending a commercial advertisement without permission from the advertiser.
If a mailing has been sent without approval from Awin / reBuy NL, the sales will be rejected for this particular mailing.
- Mail parties: Only e-mail addresses that have been obtained via an opt-in and that have been compliant in accordance with the ACM (OPTA) regulation may be used.
- In addition to having to submit all statements to the advertiser / account manager in advance, the statements must include the date of dispatch, the number of addresses, the sender and the subject line. Re-approval must be requested for each resend. If this is not the case, the advertiser has the option to reject the resulting sales and therefore not to reimburse.
